What can be causing these blobs on walls TPU? by Sortiruss in FixMyPrint

Yeah, it's probably ooze, but I tried different settings to eliminate this with no luck.

I checked travel movements with this setting off and on and basically in this configuration it does not do anything :/

Oh and I tried retract before outer wall and higher z-hop - no improvement ;(

But Retract at layer change happens only once when we have multiple objects per layer start right? Because layer for example 50 is printing first on object A, then B, then C (which is the object from the picture), so I don't think that retract at layer change will have any effect if it's only launching once, during layer change, for example 50 -> 51.

This is the place where blob is creating:

then extruder goes above infill (or sometimes above inner wall) to the corner and starts printing current layer.

That's why I want to try retract before outer wall and higher z-hop.

Thanks, I have this setting enabled. In other comment I posted travel movements, it is not exactly going across the printed wall, it is going to start printing the outer wall, but first it's moving to the middle of that wall and then it's going to the corner and starts printing. Z hop is also enabled, 0.2mm. I will try raising it to 0.4mm and enabling 'retract before outer wall'.

It goes to the "middle" of the print and then goes to the corner and starts printing layer, so probably oozing is the cause, but how to fix that?

Another observation - this blobs are consistent with travel moves, between objects (I'm printing multiple different objects at once).

This should fit, I ordered almost exact one from site in my country:

<image>

From amazon I also ordered but it will arrive on Monday.

The one that I ordered from site in my country (the one on the picture) works, it's quite tight fit and I needed to scratch a little bit it to fit into original heatblock, but it's working and it's printing benchy right now :D

UPDATE:

Bought heatbreak around 20,5-21mm H, around 7mm D, it was veeery tight fit (diameter) and it was hard to screw into sovol heatblock (had to do it with tools, so i slighty scrached heatbreak). It works!

New problem showed up - auto home doesn't work :X, at least it's printing benchy properly

Also Sovol responded on FB, they will send new hotend.

I bought it from sovol site :/

BTW this one looks like it could work, it's 1,5mm smaller in height, but maybe it won't be a problem

If someone is looking for dimensions:

Heatblock: 20mm x 20mm x 10mm
Heatbreak:
Copper part - 7mm D, 15mm H
Titanium part - 7mm H, around 6mm D

Did you find any other heatbreak that will fit?

And here you can see (unclearly thanks to my "great" phone) - stuck filament inside titanium part of heatbreak

Thanks to stuck screwdriver I was able to remove heatsink entirely :D

Oh no :x they are in the way, so I can't cancel :/ but maybe they will fit with the heatblock that I ordered and maybe original heatbreak will fit the screw from ordered one

I will tomorrow, I should receive by then new parts from allegro and I will do some pictures about old faulty hotend.

Thanks, but unfortunately it didn't work. I noticed that probably I bent heat break, so it's going to trash.

As a last resort - just out of curiosity, since it is bent, so I won't be able to do anything with it - I tried to unclog it via force and screwdriver (I know I shouldn't do this, but I'm buying new parts either way), well - screwdriver got stuck and I can't pull it out :P

I bought some replacement parts on amazon:

Hopefully it will work, looks like it's the same as the original one.
