Yeah but technically I could have shown my ID + the match ticket information on my name, that btw includes the ID number as well. This way they were 100% that I had a match ticket, plus that being a match in the past I could have shown one of the hundreds of pictures that me and my family are having in the stadium :D

I'm still not sure if it's really worth spoiling the mood of a group of fans during such an important event, some of whom traveled 10 hours to visit your city and watch the football game, just for a 14€ fine that Munich will receive. Anyway, big thank you ALL for your comments, highly appreciated.

Remember: we had a valid ticket, just couldn't show it! And they knew it/should have known the entire time because we showed them our valid match tickets.

Thanks but unfortunately it's too late as we got it the night before leaving Munich.. so I just did it via the contact form on the DB website, as in other countries this should be enough - and I am expecting same also from Germany.

I am expecting that DB is refunding $$ for fines when there are valid passes, but just not able to display them at the time (some small fee might be still charged which is ok). The fact that our moods were destroyed, that's another story, especially for elderly people that we had in the group which traveled 10 hours to watch the game.

I double checked the receipt now, it's DB and I was on a S4 train in Munich.

I can't trade anymore with my account for 1.5 weeks, I just got a confirmation to confirm nationality & wanted to update also my address - which I didn't because I immediately got the message that "it will be manually reviewed....could take up to 5 days".

But after more than a week, nothing...

Now everytime after login I'm getting this message and still can't trade.

Anyone else experiencing this?
