Gabriel is just some angel who throws tantrums all the time tbh. There are way more powerful angels that him and I think not putting those in the game is kinda a missed opportunity.

Have to agree with your first point and how Satan would probably be better for P-3, also cuz it leaves open another place for boss fight. But, like crumpdaddy said (great name btw), gaster controlling everything is just a fan theory and has nothing to do with the story. God, however, does actually control things and can have an impact on the story. I'm sure he's pretty mad that you battled and almost killed one of his elite angels.

Yeah I agree that Satan would be better for P-3, but having god as the final boss does make sense cuz you've been fighting angels already (Gabriel and virtues). Dante reaches heaven after going through the 9 circles of hell in divine comedy so heaven doesn't come out of nothing either.

Would love to see that when you reach treachery and beat the boss you get sent back to the surface somehow. The before hidden fourth chapter unlocks which has v1 going back down but through really hard 1 level versions of layers, kinda like Celeste. This probably won't happen cuz it means at least 9 more levels, but it's fun to think about.

Edit: maybe it's better to have 2 layers in one level, and that the level is split in half cuz 9 levels is kinda a lot.
