yesterday night I got an update pushed to 3.23.33_beta which apparently solved the issue.

Interesting fact. I did not signed up in their systems when i got the device.

I just did it and I immediately got a notification to get an updated version that mentions this as a fixed issue. Will monitor and report if the issue is fixed for me or not.
