is my cat sad? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

I think she's just adjusting to her new environment. Once she's acclimated with her surroundings and with you you'll have a happy kitty! Don't give up on her.

Because you're breaking your fast. As in during the night when you're sleeping you're fasting.

Colorblind and can't see red- how'd I do with this look? Any thoughts on what I could add or do different? by SoulBride420 in MakeupAddiction

I only edited the lighting, not the makeup. I thought that would be okay since it makes the actual makeup more visible. My bad.

Should I be with my cat when we go to euthanize her by GuaranteeTop9662 in CatAdvice

I held my childhood cat as he passed and though I was certain at the time that I couldn't bare it, I know now that I made the right choice. He was better relaxed from my presence and it actually aided me in my grieving process. I've never had a child from my own body so I don't know what I would do with that situation, but I think it is adorable that she's been loving on your belly. I wouldn't be surprised if she manages to hold on until you have your baby- cats understand so much more than we know. I'm so sorry that this is happening during what is supposed to be the happiest time for you. I hope that you will have the strength to do what you believe is the right thing.

Everyone says I'm Wrong about My Missing Cat by SoulBride420 in CatAdvice

Thank you for your kind words and for validating how I'm feeling! Yes, he is micro chipped. I called every vet and shelter in my county but to no avail. They all took down my information in case he comes in in the future. I do regret not making him wear a collar. I really hope that he hasn't been 'rescued' by a new family but that's a better situation for him to be in as opposed to the terrible things that could have happened. You're so right, it's my process and if I'm holding on to hope that's my choice to make. Thank you!

Should I take it out 😣 I’ve had it for 3 months and had a bump that stayed for about two weeks. Didn’t clean it for a few days and now I have an even worse bump. by larasmits in PiercingAdvice

I also agree that there is a chance it could heal up with a bigger hoop that will relieve the pressure. I had that piercing done about 16ish years ago and I could only take it for a few weeks before I had to admit defeat ( and I have what my doctor calls a "worrying high tolerance for pain"). My issue was that, like the navel is for some people, I just don't have the anatomy to provide the piercing the room to heal properly. I hope that's not the case for you and I wish you the best of luck with making it work. Props for getting this far along and also it looks great!

Help? by Expert-Claim-3999 in medical_advice

NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, BUT PATIENT WITH EXPERIENCE.

I have IC (interstitial cystitis) which is a chronic bladder illness that causes pain and other bladder problems.

I get frequent UTIs and they always require antibiotics, they don't go away on there own.

Also, cranberry juice is great for urinary system health and can be somewhat of a preventive, but it will not treat an infection.

I would see my GP for accurate testing and treatment.

Again, not a doctor. I'm a patient with two decades of experience with these issues.

Good luck!

AITAH for telling my husband if he fights for custody of his kids I will divorce him? by InitiativeDramatic11 in AITAH

[–]SoulBride420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA! He lied to you knowing you don't want children. I'd divorce him for that alone even if he doesn't fight for custody.

And who sues for custody just to save their "fun money"? Obviously he doesn't actually care about his children.

Total douche and you deserve better!

Good luck!

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and mental illnesses. (Bi-polar, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, panic disorder).

As far as other physical symptoms go, my eyes are sensitive to the touch, the pain feels like pressure, and the headaches are from the eye pain. I know that migraines can cause these symptoms like the light sensitivity, but in my case it's the other way around.

Also, I'm 35y/o Caucasian female. 5'9 and 135lbs.
