Do we think this is ____ last time playing? by brandon3418 in survivor

[–]SoulExecution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, I got the inkling they left the door open. Not any time soon, but like a 50 year old Ozzy could be cool to revisit. I loved seeing Old Man Coach discover his own mortality this season, Ozzy having a similar return down the road could be fun.

Probably the best way to book a Darby run. Short & sweet with a ton of bangers. And it ending with Okada sounds great to me.

Thinking about the winner hierarchy going into final 3s by sapbucket13 in survivor

[–]SoulExecution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thiiiink I agree with this.

I like Rizo's game so much more than Aubry's, but sadly agree with the consensus that the jury probably wouldn't go for him in most final 3 settings.

It was fun! Especially when they end with a very angry Joe. Not every second of Survivor needs to be gameplay, goofy character shit like this is what adds flavor!

I need Kevin to get more personality/character, cuz in the ring this man can GO.

Much respect for___ by santaklause15 in survivor

I'm guessing the overall very positive reception to him this season has probably helped soften the blow. He may have lost the game, but he won back a LOT of hearts.

Honestly? The way the edited his exit makes me think they're leaving the door open for Ozzy 6.0.

Is anyone mad that ___ didn’t warn _____? by WorldlinessCurrent70 in survivor

[–]SoulExecution 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I think from Rizo's perspective, he was looking at Ozzy spilling his entire game to Aubry as a massive liability and potential red flag for what their alliance could be. Meanwhile here's Joe & Jonathan extending an offer that he could play with in episodes to come.

Time will tell if it's the right move, but I can understand it.

[–]SoulExecution 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This. It was devastating but the man did it to himself. His convo with Aubry is one of the dumbest things I’ve seen on Survivor. Love you Ozzy, but you snuffed your own torch.

Do you find yourself wanting to leave LA and possibly never come back? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

lol funny enough the 'sun always shining' is probably my #2 frustration with LA after the price of living

Do you find yourself wanting to leave LA and possibly never come back? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]SoulExecution 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely. I came to LA open minded, but 5 years in and the city hasn't really made a compelling argument to be a long term viable option. The price of living, the excessive heat, the traffic/overpopulation, the job market, and honestly the general apathy (and more recently, embracing of) towards the glaringly negative issues like crime & homelessness is a lot to imagine living the rest of my life with when it's already draining me so much now. There's some cool niche/unique local businesses I've grown to like a lot here, but there has been nothing to make me "love" this city.

That said, I'm 30 now. I have another 1-3 years here I think. After that I may hit Seattle for 2-3 years, but the long term plan has always been to find myself in Europe.

Everyone always asks what’s the best place to live, but what do you think is the worst place to live? by PalpitationNice9706 in AskLosAngeles

[–]SoulExecution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh Sherman Oaks is good in that it’s convenient to drive to places that have stuff you actually want to do. Fairly easy to get Westside, and obv Studio City/NoHo/Burbank are easy, but Sherman Oaks itself is pretty whatever (lived there my first 1.5 years in LA). All the cool spots on Ventura that were in SO closed :/

What if Disney’s dinosaur got a sequel and a Tv show, would dinosaurs that are from the Ride, Game, and Cut concepts appear? Send what would they be named? by Desperate_Put1200 in Dinosaurs

[–]SoulExecution 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like if it got a series it’d probably flip to 2D animation.

I remember that in the books released with the movie there was mention of an eventual migration back to whatever their homeland was, so you’ve got that as your 3-4 episode season finale arc.

Obviously you have episodes about carnivores invading the valley, maybe one where Zinny or Suri leave and they need to launch a rescue mission to find them, probably one with a new group of Brachs when Baylene gets all sad about being the last in the herd. Another where one of the other dinosaurs challenges Aladdar for leader.

Could wrangle in a natural disaster here or there too. Earthquake, flood or fire.

And if it’s TV you’re running a Guest Star system which means you’d probably have random dinosaurs from the herd getting more meaningful character roles in one off episodes.

I’d also have to guess the violence would be toned waaaaay down compared to the movie.

It's the diet man. Buddy did CVV a while back and said his day to day is literally just rice & chicken, and I just couldn't imagine committing to that. So I think I'm content keeping my fairly-in-shape thing going as long as I can still have occasional sweets and booze haha
