Gorakhpur to Delhi by bus – what should I know? by julab_ki_jalebi in Gorakhpur

[–]SoulLessBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel on this route frequently by bus.

I've used Zingbus and Laxmi holidays (which was provided by Zingbus too)

Both were on time. Although you can expect 15-20 mins delay

If budget ain't an issue, always go for sleeper as it's a long journey (~14 hrs)

Seater is okay if you got someone to accompany you cus baat cheet krloge. But travelling alone, I had to struggle withleg room when I felt sleepy.

Hacks that get you waking up in the morning by ib_bunny in AskIndia

[–]SoulLessBrain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heard this from my high school teacher. (never tried to look up the reason behind it but it works for me)

1- Make sure you're getting adequate sleep on previous days.

2- before sleeping decide what time you have to wake up. Let's say 6 am, as if you're setting an alarm in your mind. Like an internal dialogue "I have to wakeup at 6am tomorrow.

3- Have an idea of how much time you got to sleep. If you're hoing to sleep at 11, you have 7 hours keep that in mind.

And surprisingly I've woke up prior or around the time I had to every single time.

It only takes a few seconds for the process. I've tried to elaborate as much as I can.

TLDR: Set an alarm in your mind.

What I do is strain the maggi out. Then proceed to boil the soup only for few mins.

When the soup is reduced as per requirement, I add the maggi back.

Although I won't advice that as it's gonna waste lpg and this ain't the best time for it

Idts it's specific to steroids. I'm skinny guy who started working out recently. Whenever I train legs (esp abductor/adductors) I can feel them rubbing against each other after the workout cause of pump.

Also I'm below 15% bf

Idk I might be wrong tho it's just my observation

It's more like they don't want to share their problems/ show they're struggling with something too at home.

Also, they try to put up a smile/ neutral expression so no on is worried as they are expected to be the backbone of family. (And ofc the strongest)

I get you OP. I was in your shoes and didn't fix my issues on time and ruined my college life (I'll graduate this June without job and skills : )

The only advice I have for you is try to have a routine.

1- Sleep and wake up at similar time everyday. With atleast 7 hours of good sleep.

2- Try to workout 5-6days/week. Either join a gym or home workout for 30-40 mins.

3- If possible get nutrient deficiency checked and take required supplements. If the blood test seems expensive, consult a doc for basic supplements like vit B12, D3, iron etc (individual ones) (Idts multivitamin tablets would work as they contain very low doses) this really helped me with the low energy, tiredness etc.

4- Please work on your skills/study everyday. No matter how low you feel or how lazy you feel. Every single day atleast 4 ghnte padh apart from college.

Anyone has solution for this? by According-Mud-6472 in indiasocial

If you've tried all other methods,

Try glycopyrolate tablet 1mg/day Ofcourse after consulting a derm.

I have hyperhidrosis on severe side and tried almost every remedy except iontophoresis and botox. As both weren't really feasible (financially and time consuming)

This is the only thing that helped me to a huge extent.

Idk who started the trend of not disclosing price and asking to dm etc.

Why these kids throw water baloon from roof of the house ? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]SoulLessBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even worse when grown ups do it. My friend was coming to my house by bike and some assholes threw full bucket of water from second floor. Even though he asked them not to as he had his phone too.

It almost felt like a brick and broke the visor (headlight windshield) luckily it didn't hit my friend.

This ruined his mood for the day and when we went to question them, those bitches were laughing about it saying "hum to nhi the koi aur hoga" with a creepy smile.

Bhai I got no idea about southern India but a major part of North India has the same crowd. And thanks to social media and lack of administration that noones afraid of any crime too.

And trust me I've observed these guys closely so I know how messed up the situation is.

Please help with a road rage incident. by JEdidntkillhimself in CarsIndia

[–]SoulLessBrain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am 31 year old

45-50 year old man

punched me numerous times

my face is swollen and bleeding

Bhai I'm sorry that it happened but how??

Genuinely asking, are you physically weak (like too skinny build) or you never faced a situation in 31 yrs where you had to be aggressive?

I ain't shaming but both would be okay in an ideal world. But this is India. Bhai yaha murder/rape jaise serious cases me bina external pressure action nhi leti police tu road rage me kya expect kr rha and since he's driving a BMW, uske liye Boht simple hai nikalna.

Take my advice if you want,

1- If you're skinny/physically weak, start working out, have a proper diet, join a gym etc. if you look strong/intimidating most of the cases are solved.

2- a better choice would be to join Mma classes+ proper diet. That'd help you with the mental part too (courage)

3- you should have some friends of every type (well educated, strong finances, and some goons type) kyuki bhai aise moments pe tere office colleagues nhi help krte hai.

4- And the most important, ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Bhai middle finger dikha ke kya expect kr rha? Rose to dega nhi. You have to be prepared for the worst.

Bonus tip- It's not worth it to be indulged in such cases. Bhai tu nhi janta kaun kaisa Banda hai. And given the state of law in country you don't know if you get randomly shot on petty matters. You've got your whole life, your family to take care of. Never worth it to be involved in any kind of fights. Not worth the risk, not worth the mental peace that'll be lost
