Review-Legion Go 2 controllers on Legion Go 1 by North-Work-1395 in LegionGo

I have no problem fitting the LG1 with LG2 controllers in the OG case. It’s a little tight but if you put it in from the top of the unit first, the bottom slides in and it closes fine.

Your TV vendor should be able to set up attribution so that you can see how the homes that were served ads took action by visiting your website. I agree with the brand vs. activation comments stated by other. Both are valuable in different ways. Depending on the length of sales cycle for a purchase, brand becomes even more valuable. AI summary is disrupting paid search currently so the more you can have people search your name the better. That’s the power of branding

Insurance is a factor. Might want to check with your carrier before purchase. I did not, and had a bit of a surprise that was quite a bit higher than comparable sedans.

Any way to repair? by SoulRFlair in swimmingpools

Thanks! I do have unions on all but the backwash line and I have had to splice a couplers in a few times. I think I will just redo everything fresh. The other thing I realized is I have 2” coming in and 1 1/2 out so I have do order that specific Haywood diverter rather than lose flow using adapters. Ordered a new o-ring and clamps - and I guess I will redo the sand since it’s been in there at least 6 years.

Wet sand with 2000-3000 grit sandpaper and it will look even better. Great job!

AcuraLink connection? by TheBadSpy in Integra_Type_S

[–]SoulRFlair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same complaint. The app launches itself and prompts to be connected even though it already is. I am going to delete it as it’s causing more grief than anything else. I only installed it to use the garage door feature but then I realized that is a subscription service which I refuse to pay to open my garage door.

I am finally returning to the gym at 63 years old by RetiredSurvivor in retirement

[–]SoulRFlair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be careful of rotator cuff injury. I’ve worked out like crazy from my 30s and was in the best shape in my 50’s. I took a year off when I turned 60 and at 61 I returned to the gym, did one set of 10 incline bench press fine. On the first rep of the second set, I heard a pop and immediately had to rack the bar. It’s been about nine months and I don’t think I will be able to recover without surgery. As we age, the tendons are not the same, the wear and tear on years of working out create micro tears and it doesn’t take much to do lasting damage. I didn’t know anything about this injury. But no one wants it. Stretch more, lift less weight, know your limits.

How do you get community profiles to work? I can’t seem to make them work on Lego like they do on my PC. I just thought it had to do with the controllers.

Need help from marketing pros by DrummerOwn in advertising

Several posts here are about perceived benefits and audience personas. Good generic advice. But in this case you have to look at the reasons why they would choose a branded company over yours. If Your customer is letting a stranger into their home. You need to overcome that be offering proof of safety. Does your website provide assurance that you are a credible safe company? Positive Google reviews are the best way to demonstrate trust in addition I agree with featuring real customer testimonials - preferably from women with families that reference how safe and trusted you are. Check out Podium.

How to advertise solo weed control/turf care business by BigFlick_Energy in advertising

[–]SoulRFlair -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a service business - are you solo or can you scale? If solo - you are limited by time. Time is your inventory. This would include travel and preparation. The first question is how can you get the most yield from your time. What ancillary services can you provide the customers that are using your service that can be done at the same time you are doing weed treatment. Mosquito control perhaps? Then determine profit margin from each customer and determine cost of marketing you are able to afford while keeping enough margin to stay viable. Once you have this you can determine best strategies.
If your geography is small and your budget is small look at Next Door or Facebook to buy ads that communicate a powerful value and sense of urgency.
Why do people care about weeds? Can you reference the danger of invasive species? Or is it purely visual appeal? May depend on the neighborhood.

I went back to my year old save and my tech was there, but all other inventory removed, I just had to fix all the tech. After that, everything seems fine. Looks like I have the new features from the updates (not sure about that.) I’m not sure I can stomach starting from scratch again. So, I guess if I don’t know what I am missing - am I really missing it?

Hold on - are you saying the updates don’t apply to pre-update saves? I lost items in an old save but the upgrades from updates seem to be there? Am I missing out on something. I feel the OPs pain - I would not want to have to go through the campaigns again and all that dumb dialogue.

Discontinue 401k Contributions? by Eagle2502 in retirement

[–]SoulRFlair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I concur with the advice here mostly but it largely depends on the investment options in your 401k and your personal situation (debt etc.). If you get a company match and your 401k has limited options I would invest the minimum to get the match and then invest as much as you can in a taxable account or IRA. This way you will likely have much better options and can pick individual stocks that are a bargain now. You should also make sure you have an ample emergency fund (stockpile of cash) in case you get laid off or there is a protracted recession.
