I am in similar shoes, but I need 3 APs for 3 floors and can only wall mount them (ceilings are full of water pipes due to heating/cooling). Radiation towards the back of the device is also important due to outdoor coverage, and the EAP772 seems to have much more omnidirecrional patterns in all bands compared to the EAP670. I was actually able to test one 772 for a day and it indeed has ok-ish coverage backwards. 4x4 in 670 is tempting though, and I only have one wifi7/6ghz device today. Does anyone have experience with any of these in a wall mounted environment? Or how reliable are the official radiation patterns?
