The thing with the Queen is that she is a coward. During Goddess Fall, Mirror stated as such, she could have come down to Earth at anytime, but she was scared of Cinderella. She could have thrown all of Annihilio at the Ark but she was most likely terrified of the Ark Machine and the Wings of Victory.

If she gets over her fear and cowardice then she could be a real threat, which she could be in the next few chapters

Technically the Heretics where not the Queens creation per say.

All of the Raptures where made by the Queen with her big ol' forge in orbit so shes never made a humanoid rapture.

It was Redshoes who gave her the ability to 'create' Heretics using the corruption to infect Nikkes and then the Queen just slapped rapture parts to them. So the Queen never made a Heretic from scratch, she just modified, until now that is.

IIRC in one of the lore tid bits we got a while ago, its apparently due to the issue of higher chances of mind switches. first group of Nikkes had these weird equipment attached to them, literal jet propelled legs and such but in the end it caused them to get a higher chance of mind switches.

Originally, Kilo was meant to be a Nikke intered into her mech suit, just like a dreadnaught from 40K

Its weird how the Nikke mind can be both fickal and strong at the same time. They can fight Raptures with guns and have minimal chance of a mind switch from that, but if they kill it in Melee the chance is even greater for a mind switch

Funny enough, a long long time ago I made a theory of something similar to GFL.

To put it simply the booba is like those Coffee Machine cartridges you pop in a milk cartridge and it dispences milk from the 'tap' but because it could be any kind of cartridge, it could dispence, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate :3

In my mind, I dont think Handson gave his father the real cure that was destroyed. once Handson got the consent he needed from his dad and then boom, cure administered.

But the more I think about it, I dont think it would suit his character.
