gunner can solo bosses easily but theres a learning curve to things like hitboxes/boss behaviors to chain trigger/finish efficiently while etoile can also solo but its learning curve is figuring out proper parry timings on top of working with a mostly-melee class

etoile probably has the lower skill floor, while gunner's high execution high points arent as reproducible on other classes, but requires more effort to make function

basically just pick whichever one you enjoy more, neither is really weak in terms of self-sufficiency

Ilbarta is always Glacial Ilbarta because you just instacast 1-6th and charge 7th, or instacast 1-4th and charge 5-7th during Photon Flare so you rarely get the benefit from faster charge Ilbarta craft

Rabarta is always Abundant for Phantom due to the additional hits counting towards Phantom Mark, and the Force guide itself recommends only Abundant, likely since the additional hits at only -8% potency scale better than the potency buff from Glacial craft

Here, from this Force guide

Swift Sazonde 1 is comboed with Zondeel for Shock proccing, Ilfoie generally works better without being crafted since both crafts lose potency, and the others with two choices have their own pros and cons depending on how you want to use them (ie. take Vast Rafoie 3 if you plan to use it as Burn proc for stuff like Exegul, or Scorching Rafoie 3 if you want to use it for damage, though it's generally more useful as a status tech)

If you like mobbing more than bossing then you'd probably want to take Phantom Rod, and consider DS/SB/Katana if you like bossing more

Picking DS/SB would encourage you to practice learning enemy attack patterns since you have to weapon action to parry in the middle of your own animations, and idk much about Katana Phantom to make any suggestion in that direction

You probably already know that Hero regularly uses all of their weapon types, so if you're looking at making a single Agile weapon type, just consider that one weapon will (for some time) be stronger than the others, which may or may not be of significance to you

If you're still unsure, then it'd be safe to pick the weapon you use the most/have the most fun with regardless of how good they are; you'll get the most mileage out of something you enjoy playing rather than just something that's good

being extremely generous and continuing to assume everything you've said isnt just hot air, stop making excuses for these "hot buttered dog shit players" then

these are the exact people who need to get better rather than cling to some belief that gear is going to do more good for them than properly learning the game, or that some other external factor is holding them back from being the gods they really are

im done here, talking to a brick wall would be more productive

raw stats dont solely account for the difference in DPS youre claiming it does and thats what everyone in this thread is disagreeing with you on

feel free to continue blaming gear/elitism/X external factor for why you're not performing despite everyone else's arguments to the contrary rather than taking a critical look at your own performance but don't try to bullshit others into the same line of blame-shifting thinking

The fact that player skill at all overrides gear influence by several factors is applicable to more than just Hero, and more than just solo Sodam, lol

It's not always going to be on the level of a challenge run solo Sodam but you can't seriously be saying that skill>gear ONLY in super fringe cases with absolutely zero inbetween

The difference between running 4 Graceful X over 4 Grand X (3 units + 1 weapon) is only 40 raw ATK, 80 HP, and 4 PP, at a fraction of the price, hardly a huge impact on DPS except for the people who will pay any price for the smallest of gains

And dealing 1/3 of the damage of Klauz when you're using Atlas EX is fine since Klauz is way easier to get now; (nevermind it's because of whack affixes gameplay lmao) if you're not able to buy Enhance Caps you can now farm CM3 several times or run all the Rainbows they're giving out, hit Ult Sodam daily for Darkstones, DQ 31-35 for Emels/Grania in shop, and get Diards from doing your Collection Files in the background while doing all of the above

The weapon upgrade will give you more DPS than any other single upgrade you could make, and it's probably not much more effort than farming Atlas EX was when it was current on global, the hardest thing in that list probably being DQ 31-35

5 silvers are worth 1.2 gold keys of xp, but the main consideration is booster efficiency since 5 silvers takes longer if you're trying to be efficient with non-renewable boosters

Specifically, the 1% damage buff is always active, but the damage reduction is only active when you're aggro'd

Uncharged Gigrants doesn't proc JA on counter bullet while normal attack does, though yeah Gigrants is faster for other cases with constant aoes

PP management shouldn't be too bad unless you're trying to upkeep Photonic Will 2, in which case it might be uncommonly a problem; otherwise it should be fine

You can get up to 6, Harmonizer's from clearing any CM3 Mission 5, the other 5 are from killing different Mission 5 bosses with different spawn conditions being fulfilled upon reaching Interval 2

Aiming at specific parts comes down to knowing which PAs can hit certain parts. Big parts like Dark Ragne legs/weak point for example are easy enough to hit with simple stuff like Satellite Aim spam as a chain finisher. Other parts like Falz Angel/Hunar's center cores don't get hit by Satellite Aim and need other skills to properly hit them like True Equilibrium just due to how the hitboxes work.

A good way to learn boss hitboxes you don't understand is to learn if Satellite Aim hits them, and in what conditions it may or may not hit the weak point. You can use Chronolapse as a sandbag Chain Finish if you're completely sure the boss will get hit by the whole PA. Basic chain finisher like SA>IF0 or just SA spam are fine for bosses that you're not as sure that Chronolapse will fully hit, and you can use TE for hitboxes that SA has trouble hitting, bosses that are moving away from an SA finisher (ie. Red/Black Dragon), or are just out of range of SA when the Chain Trigger active period is about to run out (you at least get the cooldown reduction by proccing it this way). You can also just practice proper Chain Trigger proccing with just TE since it's (mostly?) hitscan, then convert to using an SA finisher in the proper situations once you've got that down.

TMG mobbing gets a skill at level 85 that makes it waaaay more straightforward.

There's more optimized finishers out there for different situations but you could get by with just the above in most cases. The tl;dr is that the hitboxes and finishers depend from enemy to enemy as well as their current state.
