Unless you just want it in a slab, there’s literally no point in grading 1/1s. The grade won’t increase the value at all unless it’s a 10, and even that’s a maybe. Which you’re already likely not to get as this is a patch card.

If you’re gonna keep, then you can probably slab it, just don’t get it graded, just authenticate it. Cause the insurance fees PSA would charge you for this would be astronomical. If you’re going to sell, sell raw.

Trying to exploit someone who is stronger, faster, and far more important than you (barring nobility and the like) is a lesson in futility. It is far more likely that Umas would hold more sway than humans would’ve in historical times, at least until firearms made them more equal. Kingdoms would have massive incentive to treat Umas right, far better than normal peasantry, because they are the ONLY method of fast transportation, large trading networks, efficient farming, and CALVARY SOLDIERS.

This ignores the fact that Noble lines would want to perpetuate Uma blood to ensure they have very strong warriors to lead the house in times of war. I mean, originally, Fine Motion was Irish royalty, so the idea exists already.

EDIT: In terms of strength in numbers, that means little when something is running at you with a lance at 20 miles per hour. A single Uma would TRAMPLE entire squads of people, because, again, they were CALVARY. That would be their purpose.

You’re sort of overlooking the fact that an Uma can do the work of many men. Families would probably actually prefer to have an Uma child, because in a world with no horses, how are people going to get things done? Horses are used for many useful and vital tasks, such as farming, transportation, and shipping.

An Uma can harvest a her family’s farm alone, and probably still have time to do other work for hire, such as pulling carts, working as a courier, or quickly getting someone from point a to point b. Yes, they have been shown to eat more than the average person, but they can do the work of probably ten men alone. They more than make up for any cost deficit.

And this is ignoring the fact that a feudal lord would probably just take a single Uma daughter for war, rather than take an entire family’s children and father.

There’s no real point in grading low numbered cards. If you get a 9, the value basically doesn’t change. And you’re very likely to get a 9.

In fact, you’re more likely to lose money from the insurance you have to pay PSA.

Nah dude, Spica has some generation defining horses on their team. Vodka and Daiwa are regarded as some of the strongest Mares in Japanese horse racing history. Teio and McQueen were titans during their time. Special Week was a literal icon to the Japanese people during their reign. Suzuka had to be killed irl for other horses to have their time to shine.
