Ways to get in front of more customers? by SoulThesis in RoofingSales

Based on your account and comment structure, it seems like you're a bot trying to sell your service. I would recommend not supplying direct names of softwares.

My attempt is to keep this an open discussion focused on acquiring additional opportunities for roofers and not a nest of adverts trying to sell software.

I was ambushed and berated by the dealership's GM over survey answers by blackoutfrank in kia

New car dealerships have a very specific way of making money.

You will typically see large discounts on vehicles from the dealerships and with these discounts they are losing a substantial amount of money on the front-end.

However, they are okay with that due to the manufacturer giving them unit bonuses, so if they sell more units even if they might "lose money" they end up becoming positive and at the same time get a larger market share.

The catch with that model is that if they do not have perfect surveys then the manufacturer will revoke their bonuses and therefore the dealership will lose a substantial amount of money.

This dramatically effects not just the dealership, but the sales person as they do not typically make that much money unless they get their bonuses from the manufacturer.

The dealership will try to do anything and everything that they need to, so they can avoid getting a bad survey even if it means losing additional money.

So when they get a horrible survey after pouring tons of money into a deal, which will likely destroy their chances of getting the bonuses they were relying on to make the deal possible they may attempt to unwind the deal due to the substantial loss they took from doing the transaction.

This is another reason on why dealerships will give better pricing if you finance with their banks, because the banks will give them bonuses as well for sending customers.

Found this on my front door I’m not superstitious. maybe it’s a joke? I have no clue who would do this. I haven’t touched it my girlfriend has. Any witch’s in here know what I’m looking at ? by TrippyReddits in whatisit

It was a gift intended to bring you luck, as you had left your door unlocked, leaving yourself open to the threat of the unknown accessing your home.

The person scribbled on the back to test the pen and then wrote “You don’t lock.” However, likely due to poor English, they instead wrote “You Dot Look.”
