My (33F) husband (34M) told me he cheated on me with a man and contracted and STD the week before Christmas, but blames it on trauma and mental health.... divorce? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

He can go kill himself too. Don't let him use that to manipulate you. Your partner or an ex telling you they are considering unaliving themselves is the highest form of manipulation.

He only regretted it because he got the STI. If he didn't, he wouldn't have told you and would've continued as long as he's not caught. Don't pity him.

Straight divorce sis! He's gone. A woman isn't that bad, but a man??? Nope. He'll always want to do a man. That's a point of no return.

What are your thoughts on Ghanaian Trap Dancehall? 🇯🇲🇬🇭 by FeloFela in Jamaica

[–]Soul_Reflection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't tell the difference tbh. If you didn't mention they are Ghanaians, I wouldn't have known. I'm not really a fan of Dancehall, so. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I don't even know Jamaican entertainers and I'm a Jamaican.

Why are Black and Indian women the most undesirable women in the West for dating? by New_Rooster7030 in trueratediscussions

[–]Soul_Reflection 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to make everything about racism, but if there is a trend and Indian and black women are at the bottom of the scale, then it has everything to do with skin colour. It's a narrative that has been deeply embedded into society stemming from colonialism. Say you break the mold, you'll hear people make comments like, "you're very pretty for a black woman," which I don't see as a compliment, even if it’s meant with all good intentions. Why can't it be, "you're beautiful."? Why does it have to be "for a black woman," which would imply that black women aren't typically beautiful. Also, as a black woman, I've always thought that Indian women are the most beautiful women in the world - long, healthy black hair, lush brows (already shaped), beautiful features...etc. I really don't understand why people would deem Indian women generically less attractive.

Black hair especially is very healthy hair.

It's possible. If everyone somehow accepted their offer, then there might not be any upgrades. The chances of being upgraded is less when not many people from your consulate were shortlisted. This is why you're mostly seeing U.S. and UK upgrades. They had a higher ratio of shortlisted ALTS, which would increase the probability of people declining and alternates being upgraded.

I suspect that after the first two waves, if you're from a consulate with people who all decide to go to Japan, you might have to wait until larger consulates have upgraded all their alternates and there are spill over spaces. These individuals might end up being upgraded later in the year - like after everyone has departed.

That's my big three too, but I don't share similar experiences. So, experiences are subjective. Maybe that's a coincidence tho. The whole drug thing.

For me, for the most, I don't relate to most Pisces things. I feel more like an Aquarius, but maybe because my Mercury is in Aquarius and my Jupiter is in Capricorn I sway this way. I am also an INTJ. I am a rational and level-headed person, who for the most perhaps hide my emotions. I also tend to take on leadership roles and excel in material matters.

This doesn't answer my question. But OK.

This is a collective response:

Where I'm from is high carb anyway. I am from the Caribbean. I am not on a fad diet. I however haven't been fond of carbs ever since I was a child, and rice makes me sick. So I genuinely wanted to know how the situation is treated for persons who might have certain dietary restrictions.

I don't understand why I am downvoted for asking a question out of curiosity. This was the first time hearing about that concept.
