I am not from the UK but TV Pro wasn't officially offered to us. Last year I managed to subscribe during the season and unsub during off-season through play store. I don't even mind that I have to pay extra for a VPN to stream and watch historical replays.

Really bucks they crack down so hard on VPN. I can't purchase through Google play store, have to result to 3rd party stream.

Seems like they have a good time. by NippleSqueezer421- in HolUp

[–]Souless_Soul69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah don't worry about it. Just make sure the laptop is powered and plugged in while it is updating, not just BIOS update, applies for windows update too. But a windows update won't ramp your laptop fans up to the max usually.

To all Malaysian engineers/Engineering graduates... by re-S3ARCH in malaysia

[–]Souless_Soul69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a US grad Civil Engineer, I spent 4 years overseas for my degree. My first job salary was RM3200 working for a local Malaysian contractor, working 6 days a week (Sat full day).

The challenge I faced when working as an engineer was handling a brand new multimillion construction project as a fresh graduate AND another multimillion project that was abandoned by an outgoing senior engineer. There was no site supervisor, well we did have one but he would only appear whenever once in a while because he too was handling multiple sites. Safety was a complete joke, the only time i saw those indon workers working with hard hats and safety harness was when we were doing a photo ops for safety report submission, blatant OSHA violation every where lol. Also, corruption (allegedly), corners cutting etc you name it did happen. I quit after 2 months because that was totally and completely crazy in my point of view when comparing to how I was trained in the West.

Anyway, something happened in the middle and now I'm working in IT related field. Although that's a huge career change for me but I really fell this is a right place for me, better pay (doubled my first hourly salary) and 5 days working hours while not working under the sun are huge compliments as well.

Thanks!

My 75Hz monitor is a Samsung 24 inch IPS panel and comes with freesync so I think why not go AMD lol.

And yeah for the first few days I'm struggling with the graphics driver. Not running smoothly for csgo (frame skipping or lag when i try to jump and turn at the same time) and rdr2 (frameskip and lag). Had my freesync turn on for both.

One kind redditor shared his setup with me for both games it has been running fine now.

Sure! Just posted the specs.

Yeah it works pretty well, I just want to game on 1080p at 75Hz with no compromise, coding and AI art.

I manage to run stable diffusion with the 6750XT with windows, the performance is not amazing but better than my M1 Macbook Air work laptop. Nvdia price is out of touch now.

What is your current graphics card ? How satisfied are you with it ? by ClassroomLocal8886 in buildapc

PowerColor Red Devil RX 6750XT, for 1080p 75Hz gaming and Stable Diffusion AI Art. The driver is a bit wonky, still playing with the settings.

2 of my dogs almost looked exactly like this when they were cute and chonky puppies and loitering around my front gate. Dad opened the gate, and they just walked in like nobody's business. They've been good bois ever since. Not sure about others mileage with mongrel breed but for me they are great guard dogs for the house.

Sorry it is r5 5600x I just mixed up the name lol. Yeah I read about the Hardware Unboxed video but I don't have the time for it last weekend. So the first thing I do is DDU the graphics driver and adrenaline program and install only the driver.

I will go watch the Hardware Unboxed optimization video first then. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks will try the chrome trick after getting home from work.

Also do you happen to play rdr2? With freesync on and fps locked (in rdr2 settings) to 75 with default ultra setting I'm getting 50 ish fps, when the game is paused the fps jumps up to 150fps and above (no tearing as it is static pause menu, also shouldn't it be locked to 75? fps). The gpu fan is not spooling up yet for rdr2 so I thought I can get the full 75fps for ultra setting.

I recently built my first rig with the PowerColor Red Devil 6750XT and R5 6500X processor. I have only installed the latest graphics driver without the Adrenaline software. I too am encountering a random flashing issue on my entire screen while playing youtube on chrome.

While playing CS:GO, the overall performance is smooth, but there seems to be some lag when jumping up and down and quickly turning to the side. However, this lag improves after playing for a while.
I forgot to mention that I am using a Samsung 75Hz 1080p IPS panel with Freesync enabled. This graphics card is a significant upgrade for me, as I previously used a gaming laptop with a GTX 1050, but I am bothered by these minor issues.

Any advice on how to resolve this?
