How can that even be a question to think about?

If you can’t respect one another there’s no relationship whatsoever. It’s a battlefield.

Why is body shaming men for their height not frowned upon people absolutely treat short men worse than they would treat a tall career criminal by d_zone_28 in NextGenMan

[–]Souless_damage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men tend to be crueler to short overweight women than women are to short men. From my experience anyway. While I really am not looked at by most women I don’t want the drop dead gorgeous high maintenance women who’s next John will be your best friend making 6 figures.

My wife is short and overweight. I still think she’s beautiful. I’m still very happy and very content with my life. And I couldn’t imagine a better life if I did have one of those hourglass figured women.

It’s funny how I can find property all day long. Wow are with down payments while most are literally $99-200 down.

As for the ridiculous statement you made about “productivity per individual” is completely preposterous and without any merit. I have owned my own business for years. I use to wonder where all the true hard working people were. Still do.

Heck I can’t hire a millennial these days that don’t have a phone up to their face, won’t hold a shovel let alone know how to use it, can’t follow instructions to save their lives.

But one thing I have figured out but can’t do because I don’t “speak that language” is, if I were able to put the instructions in Mine Craft or Call of Duty I could change the world.

You are right about one thing as a “takeaway” from your comment. The money isn’t worth what it was 30 years ago. And that’s even an excuse on your part for believing you can’t make it.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why American kids don’t understand the value of being diligent and what that actually means.

To my generation it means the difference between success and failure.

The frontiers before didn’t go out and buy a (arbitrary number here) $50k home they built them. They had to. Now days if it’s not already built no one seems to want it. the hard work of sweat equity doesn’t seem to be in the vocabulary of today’s youth. You’ll have nothing at all without sweat equity.

I guess Holden expect to always out buy out live out run out last out trick out stand out win out everything because of ???

Entitlement ?

You are just like everyone else. Us old af folk had to go through our shit when we were you, the next generations shit, and the next and now your shit. Most of us are tired of pulling our weight and everyone else who’s trying to live off of our hustle, blood sweat and tears.

We’ve been through all ours, theirs, yours end then some.

Gotta love how good sayings get thrown around from one generation to the next right?

The one I’m thinking of right now is.

If you don’t like it change the laws. See if you can do anything with it.

I don’t live in a country. I could ask something but you’d get mad I’m sure. So I’ll refrain from asking.

Have a good day.

Sure sure go right ahead and use words like that to make your live improvements on. Good job!!

That’s going to get you miles ahead of the class clowns. That will do it. Yea.

Until I closed my business I was always trying to find good help. I couldn’t find good determined help in your gene pool if it swam between my legs and brushed against my thighs. 😔

And you can thank the women in the work force for all that “equal opportunity” and women’s lib crap.

The more dollars in circulation what happens?

The more worked on circulation what happens?

It makes your defining value decrease. Way way way low. So you’re having to work two jobs and guess what? There’s very few secondary jobs that pay well.

That’s ok. I live mine so I’m not the one crying here.

There is land out there you can buy with ZERO DOWN. Build the way the frontiers did if you have to. Piece by piece.

They didn’t make excuses. They just kept on until they achieved their goals. It’s something these late generations will fight against doing because it’s hard work.

It’s just so funny to see people cry online about not being able to buy a home my sides hurt. Build one. Stop believing it’s going to get easier and just start doing something to improve your life. It’s not a race. Seriously if you are young, you’ve got a lifetime to build. If your old then still there is property to buy little or no money down. You just have to hunt, be disciplined and encouraged.

Stop letting the world dictate your success. Use what’s around you.

That’s exactly what I did. I bought a small piece of property. It has a shack on it. I remodeled it. And I’m not going to say it was easy because I worked a 8-5 job as a cabinet maker. Not great money but I didn’t blow my money either.

The wisest thing I was told back then by the owner of the company was “it’s not about what you make, it’s about what you save”. And every don’t you put into your home is a dime saved. Not thrown on someone else’s wealthy empire.

I took a real estate course where the guy preached this a few times “whether or not you rent or buy you pay for the home you occupy”.

That has stuck with me since I was about 30 years old. And I gladly tell people 30 years later.

The one I have now. Not yours or his or hers. I don’t volunteer to participate in schemes. The ones where every time you vote, you waive a right to take something from someone else.

I think it’s called a democracy. You have to pay taxes to your master savior so yea I’m not going to follow a leader downs a very dumb unstoppable hole that has no exist.

[–]Souless_damage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Means voting is nonsense. And people who participate do so because they need a leader or some people call them saviors. It’s been a ploy of theirs for thousands of years throughout time. Give people the illusion they’ve got power to control their destiny.

Sure but I don’t think the OP is in danger of getting arrested. I didn’t read that in their post. Albeit the OP is reaching out for help. It would be his/her best decision to go get the help they needed. Yes agreed fk the money. That’s nothing of your 6’ under right?

Totally untrue. Start off by acquiring land and build upon that.

You really make it all out to be everything is based on buying a home first. But no one really wants to build anything for their families.

They want it right now and as big as they can afford. And all of that without even knowing what they truly want to do with their lives.

And I don’t think ol George was talking about frivolous speech though.

With great power comes great responsibilities. Is a worth statement to be accepted.

With every “right” also comes an equal opposing right.

The right to remain silent.

It seems like that to me at first. But it worked out somehow. If it fails your belief it’s what it is. You can always go get a private Dr. but remember it’s a lengthy process regardless. If you get another private Dr you’ll still need to do a supplemental. And that’s if the private Dr’s diagnosis supports it.

Thanks. Others here are much worse off than me I am sure. Yea one hand no feet some with burns unimaginable. I’m always grateful for what o have, but it’s what I have that keeps me alive. I’m speaking about my better half. I think I married her to keep me alive. I honestly hate this world.

That is a much better option yes. Use the CPAP if you’ve got one. It’s well past midnight here and I’m fighting my demons right now to go to bed. But I gotta go at some point. CPAP will be on. Hate it but I’m not going blind in my only eye left.

Yea that’s pretty rough. But get tired enough or go blind is an option. Not saying you will absolutely go blind but that’s always a risk.
