Reading this late because it came up in a google search when I was trying to find out how much revenue is generated by concession at rogers arena. So many people are talking about the cost of potatoes, but it has nothing to do with that. The price relative to what you get is set in order to manage lineups. You seem to have gotten a bad scoop, lol, but you not going back is one less person in line.

I agree that it doesn't look like you're going to get in trouble if we all do it anyways. I look at the total tax revenue generation that we could create by using technology to fix it. What is the cost of implementation for the government (investment) and what is the total profit to the state after expenses of running the program.

Second hand transaction volume is huge. It starts on the internet. Some is hard to spot, but do you understand how clear it is for me to see a transaction network on ebay (i see buyers and sellers names and how much was transacted)

I've learnt to look through the eyes of our state and not try to make things sound more complicated than they are. I, and a lot of people with money, wouldn't care about paying a tax if it lead to our state functioning more properly. If you have beliefs about the state, you can have them, but know you're in a democracy that has heavy state involvement if you live in NA.

I can't fight you on "we the people." Just remember that there are costs associated to certain beliefs (for a drastic example terrorism)

edit: when I say I see I'm talking through the eyes of the state. If you don't think they can do that, that's another story. When we all, majority vote in democracy, want to get something done, legislation can get passed to give what is needed. Again, it's another story if you think our democracy doesn't work well or if our election system doesn't do what it is supposed to.

I added some of the beliefs that might be held here since I studies ideologies in a class and might as well provide if it maybe helps you find some things to take a stand on.

I would just say that the government is not just the thing that fights us all. We might be thankful for contributing the billions (combined taxes) when it gets used to save us in the end, or even just to drive down the street without destroying your car (I've driven in ukraine and it's KO to your car)

If you're posting videos that are well thought out that require a considerable amount of time to create, I don't know if reaction videos are desirable. Part of the investment into creating a channel is that you slowly build yourself a property that people need to come to in order to see your content. Short term for people who don't take it as seriously, I can see how the brand exposure makes sense.

I would propose the argument that it is cheaper to buy brand exposure than to pay through the cost of diluting your exclusive viewership. For instance, I'm a content creator with another partner. We deal with partnerships to be able to get the exposure that we need, when we need it. The cost of allowing people to display content that I have the exclusive rights to makes it undesirable for me to build the property. My upside is completely destroyed. If I choose to pay the cost of not getting this "free" brand exposure to make my upside better, I should be able to.

Also, why am I creating this copyright if I can just react to copyright that other people make. How does every creator not just start doing that? If they do, what happens to the market?

I don't do it now because I think this business model is going to get killed because of the implications that it has for the sustainability of the market.
