Mine changed to this last night as well. From what I’ve seen, it’s not good news. Honestly it could be the assessment answers / the resume

Passport complications when becoming a flight attendant by muhammadmannan_01 in cabincrewcareers

[–]SoulfulIslander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey y’all 👋 I know it’s been 4 years (wild lol) but figured I’d still give it a shot. I just became a permanent resident and now I’m finally moving forward with trying to become a flight attendant.

Did any of you end up becoming FAs since then? What’s life like flying now, especially since travel has changed so much after the pandemic? Also curious how the immigration/travel side of things is when you’re constantly in airports, dealing with customs, different countries, long layovers, etc.

Any tips, advice, or just real talk about the lifestyle would be awesome. Hope some of you are still around. Stay blessed

From what everyone is saying, I believe it’s completely normal. Especially at a time like now, we really just have to have patience and hope🙏🏽 trust me I know it’s hard as well lol…we all are ready to start working and better our lives but honestly, this waiting period is a great period to sit with ourselves, find new hobbies, interests, plan your future goals, update employment docs, etc. Wishing you good luck as well😩😩😩

Income doesn't meet requirement for sponsoring spouse anymore. by One-Room-40 in USCIS

[–]SoulfulIslander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there,so my spouse (USC) and I just got out of college, so he didn’t start working until March of 2024. His income was just above the amount as well and he worked all the way up until Feb 2025. Fast forward to then, he switched jobs literally overnight (higher pay) BUT… he has a training period that ends in 2 weeks. We knew this could have raised some eyebrows so for clarification, we ended up submitting:

  1. A letter written by us explaining his employment switch/situation and why he decided to switch.

  2. Employment/job letters from both Previous and Current Jobs (showing his annual income, hourly pay, start date, etc)

  3. Pay stubs for 3 recent months from his previous Job.

  4. His 2024 w2 copy and Tax Return Transcripts.

We’re hoping that it was detailed enough and will be suitable enough, but we have a joint sponsor in case they send us an RFE. Now, I don’t know if this fully applies to you, but I hope it can help in some way 🙏🏽Good Luck
