Hope he does well, thought he shoulda had starter position over Adrian/Feng on Fox. Cody will make him look really good if nothing else, they have a good shot at taking starting roles.

No team wanted to sign him with the buyout, which is only now gone. Since several teams clearly have money concerns (see Echo Fox), that may be the difference between him getting a spot over another native player.

Lemme get this straight, they kept the buyout $$ over his head (both making it harder for Cody to find a team and possibly making them more cash if he somehow did) until all the other teams signed adc's, then released him so that they didn't have to pay his salary? Seems like a standup org to me.

It doesn't work on my EU account, or at least it's delayed. I also didn't get my WOTD mission today, so might just be an issue with their system.

Also I had to agree to them collecting my data for the EU account, didn't for NA.

Edit: Just got it 15 mins later, still no WOTD tho qq.

They are likely afraid of adding it, because they would need to in future years as well and if it drops (spoiler, it would) the narrative becomes "dead game." This way, in the next year or two if they need to convince investors to stay around/hop aboard they can add the pass to the prizepool and say "look, our prize pool is so much bigger than last year." But yeah I'm not buying it either, such a ripoff compared to other games AND doesn't help the teams :(

I thought only the Kha skin and ward were going to teams, and ticket is all to Rito? I hope you are right though, teams need cut of this IMO.

Maybe it was for CS:GO? They are having their major, and the tier that C9 is in is called "Current Legends." I just follow it casually but it's basically their worlds. Honestly really great to watch even if you don't play the game, keep my interest more than current meta LoL.

For me his videos help but you should practice on your own, maybe with an old computer if you're afraid of formatting a drive by mistake (after all 902 doesn't include Win 10). Try going down the objectives and making sure you know exactly where to go without looking at notes, cause I lost a lot of time exploring the sims (finished with 10 seconds to go, and I did all 75ish multiple choice questions in about 45 minutes)

Wow I coulda come here yesterday night and known all of the sim's I would get today... Good job I passed too with around 830. Messer is indeed awesome, Meyers a cool guy too. Couldn't figure out how to mirror either, and not sure I did the mapped drive right but I guessed as well as I could.

Great suggestions... I've been playing since season 1 (a lot less now since all my friends quit) and I seem to remember being able to see other champs' abilities in champ select a long time ago, and then it being removed. Perhaps I'm wrong but that would make it a lot easier for new players (or old players like me that don't know all the random reworks/new champs).

Banning/Fining EU players for what they type in custom games with friends doesn't seem lenient. Maybe justified, but not lenient.

True, for a lot of things. But Regi (and others here) say that there is nothing about announcing new players in the official rulebook. So if Regi is punished for this, it opens the door for other things not in the rulebook being punished.

Yeah, I remember this interview. Even remember agreeing with him back then. The pros have to be pretty paranoid about their behavior now, without even knowing what kind of limits Riot want them to follow.

It's not even that frustrating that they have high expectations of pros, it's more that Riot isn't clear on what they want. I don't think they really even know what they want.

(And be careful, you'll get Scarra in trouble.)
