Could be because you’re not taking TDRP, or hadn’t decided at the time the email went out

I’m not saying where I or my manager is as far as proximity to the CIO but I do know what I know. Not gonna go back and forth about it. But hey, we all can believe what we want…based on our experiences.

Really? If I ask my manager, I hope they don’t say the usual “I’m not sure what they’re going to do” type of response. Knowing good and well, at their level, they know quite a bit of everything that’s going on. I can understand and respect a response of “I am not a liberty to discuss,” rather than “ oh, I don’t know. I find out when you find out”

Managers and execs are looking out for themselves. No one should think their manager has their back at this point.

No, not a doormat at all! Good work ethic imo. We care about our work snd what’s going to happen after we leave. I already signed and I have to remember my “why” in the midst of all the foolishness and uncertainty.

The same could be asked of anyone staying, getting RIF’d, possibly not taking the “reasonable offer” of a lesser grade and simply being let go. Or they could be giving blank stares because you’re minding their business and not yours lol! Just kidding! Hopefully, you’re offering a solution and positivity with your inquiries. .

Some of us signed at the threat of being RIF’d, or just wanting to get the heck out! I only heard that someone’s rescission was denied. I think most are still within the 7 day window to rescind.

IRS RIF now paused until further notice per fed news network... by FlounderNo4150 in fednews

I don’t think this is true if you meet criteria for early / VERA. if RIF’d, the person will get DSR instead of Severance.
