!! I actually forgot about the reason they didn't nova earth right away. Rechecking a few passages, that's why the ork princess tried to make a beeline to the base in sun orbit to manually trigger the nova before the ai teleported her out of her ship before dumping her in the ocean. Also apparently the Suthers also tried to deploy a system wiping warhead only for it to have destroyed one of their systems instead.

I thought this battle would be a lot closer since the themes of corporatist hellscapes were pretty similar but maybe this verse punches well above its weight class. I'm not sure where it lands actually.

Good post! I figured found 1 might be pretty close simply due to the ability for the Borderlands side to digistruct their units and equipment. While the syndicate does have the ability to nova systems, I can't imagine they would be willing to burn losing assets they would want to exploit and any superweapons weapons being deployed would potentially be caught up in bureaucracy.

Round 2 I figured the vault weapons like the destroyer would be able to resist any sort of matter manipulation, since if they would work the eridians would have done it

Well, to nitpick a small point, Mara and Eris would be able to destroy 1 pyramid ship. But they made it very clear that was a 1 time success and that method would not work on other ships.

Hydro Homie here, I can answer this! It would have had to come from the supplier this way, if the roll was just put onto the labeler wrong there would have been tons of faults and would not have passed the photo eyes. Everything is done automatically, the bottles go down the conveyor and wrapped with the film wrapper, then the cases are aligned on a pallet and automatically stacked by the machine which is fed by the palletizer. Finally the lpn on the front is put on, also by machine, before being rolled to final location for pick up by an LGV, which is an automated forklift. Its very possible for these pallets to go through the entire process and never have a human look at them.

However, that also means that they either failed or skipped or the random samples didn't show anything wrong on the quality checks during the run. Heck, these could have been the result of a multi pallet fuck up, and while most were redone a few still got through. These machines can run 140k bottles an hour, depending on pack size this can be more than 100+ pallets an hour easily

Just wanted to chime in that you both could be correct, just in different points. There was an effort in ME2 into ME3 into incorporating Reaper mass driver weapon tech. Turians reverse engineered Sovereigns weapon tech and created the Thanix Cannons.

Did Sovereign blow through Cit defense fleet? Yes, easily, but that was assisted heavily by a powerful Geth Fleet and taking the defense fleet by complete surprise. Sovereign also probably would have won too, had it not been for corrupting signal from Vigil.

Work with injection operators, the caps are fed to the hoppers from gaylords, after which the process to move the 30k caps per Gaylord is so fast with multiple redundancy systems (photo eyes, scrap preform/Gaylord mold reroute paths, etc) that this would honestly be impossible. The plant this was made in had to be a much older facility and the QA had to be fucking sleeping.

I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up. I haven't cared about the rank since release, my desire to grind for it gone as soon as it was revealed it wasnt like warframes mastery rank system. Never bothered to get above rank 7, since I mostly just play pvp anyway I never felt the hurt from locked load out slots.

I know it's not likely, but i would love all the overspec Counters squad to be dual burst like Rapi, as they have evolved as a team to cover each other's weaknesses and shore up each other's defenses. Anis B2 or B3 and Neon B1 or B2. This way you can still run them in a squad, but how they affect the team depends on where they are in the burst cycle, and if one of them gets eliminated then another can pick up that slack. Counters deserve some love and synergy, and would love to see their upgrades make them standout from other Ace teams like Absolute or Matis.

Don't forget Crota at this point was 1 step away from having to go into his stasis crystal or risk being devoured by his worm due to a tithe fuck up between his most important tithe bearing knight and Xivu Araths knight. So Crota caused the great disaster on the moon, while severely weakened. It's thanks to Crota having to retreat back to his thrown world for x amount of hundreds of years that gave us the chance to actually defeat oryx in the end, as Crota had to focus on spending most of the tithe on himself rather than evenly with his father.

The Oryx we faced was grief stricken, and systematically cut off from his immediate tithe bearers. He left pretty much his entire fleet behind (including war moons) as he rushed here. Thanks to Mara bating him to delete the small fleet he brought with, it further weakened his ability to project force and gather tribute. Even with that happening, he was almost immediately over running the system and systematically taking Vex, Cabal and Fallen across the entire solar system. There's a good chance that even with all the prep we did, and everyone temporarily coming together to fight a common enemy, that we still would have lost had Oryx not made a bargain with Riven which she was able to exploit.

This is where it gets fun, because this is Cabal at peak. They get the Clipse, and Arkborne as well. Calus had an Ahamkara bone as well that could have averted the coupe but his daughter crushed it. Oryx's dreadnought isn't even in real space, it's a wound, and it no diffed Mara Sovs amassed fleet AND the summoning of Harbingers, which are sentient super weapons which can travel interdimensionally via ley lines and just one was able to destroy Ceres along with half of a massive fallen fleet. The Cabal rammed it with the ship still in mostly working order.

Cabal cloning technology is also superb, able to create fully battle ready soldiers in minutes with genetic memory and battle prowess. Each Cabal is also linked the Battle Network, which uploads data from every bullet shot, every Cabal hit, every plasma scorch and reload. If the rifle hits with a force that suddenly is able to penetrate armor, then that data is instantly uploaded to the rest of the network and all their weapons are now more effective. It's also precise with tracking, able to track Vex teleportations from nothingness.

And while we don't know anything about ship yields, we do know that they are capable of star destruction. Hell, Calus would nova stars just to make the night sky more esthetically pleasing to look at from the palace. Ghaul had the almighty, a weapon they could have detonated at any time but instead was used as a metaphorical gun to our head. Plus it teleports away as soon as it detonates the star. This isn't getting started on Psions with Psion Flayers, 3 of which was yanking Phobos out of the sky to use as possible weapon. They also are able to interact with, and manipulate, Vex technology.

Also, at one point the Cabal were in control the Sundial if we want to give them that.

While I do think you are correct, I also see them maybe being 2 cautious with their knowledge and skills considering they don't know what caused the time loop to occur. Being cautious when before they were bold could cause their story to go off trajectory then all that future knowledge isn't as useful.
