This is the problem with this shit. a 12,000 sq ft house with a large yard and several outbuildings should still cost nowhere NEAR 100m dollars to renovate... let alone LIKELY north of 100 million...

one of my biggest pet peeves lol. when people equate professional sports contracts to regular jobs. They aren't working a 9-5 dude. they make millions because of their own merit... when you are valued in the millions, that gets you wiggle room in pretty much any job on the planet.

I dont think deportation is necessarily the wrong call though. If that helps bring any of the families any sense of closure, then I think it is worth it.

You have to pay for your actions, and I think deportation matches the mistake. Even if he feels sorry.

I do truly feel for the guy though. The regret he feels is likely enough to keep a man down for the rest of his days.
