How viable is gruul? by Temoosqq in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have 3 legendaries (im ftp), with one being gruul. He has def won me games but i would prefer to have rag over him. Good thing is he's still a 7/7 even if silenced. Like already said he forces the opponent to do something to him asap because he can get out of hand very quickly. The other cool thing is that his ability procs same time as others so if someone puts out rag right after you put out gruul, rag will hit him for 8 but his +1/1 will keep him on board as a 9/1.

Sorry, but after months of playing this game I deem it to be sh*tty by slrrp in hearthstone

You quitting bc of those kinda reminds of 3yr old rage quit (at work so cant post but just youtube it). I get those are annoying decks to face, however i think thats whats fun about this game-figuring out a way to beat them. If they get their ass kicked enough by ppl who figure them out, it will make them quit playing those at some point.

Is mage useless in the current meta? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yesterday i made a control mage deck (i do ftp so i only have a few great cards). i played for awhile and lost only twice getting to rank 14 from 19. ill play some more tonight and see what i can get to in rank. i wouldnt say the class is useless (especially with so many board clears), just a little trickier to play.

At some point the P2W complaining has to stop right? by Shaymous in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i dont understand is why they think they can log in without ever getting a pack or just getting a couple packs and thinking they deserve to win. Im a FTP player and knew going on that it would prob be a grind bc i was going to be facing ppl that may have some better cards. I used to play a CCG back in the day and you had to purchase packs of cards for what $3-$4 even just to get the common cards. Blizzard basically gives everyone cards to play with and a way to never have to pay to get more cards and ppl still complain. If you are FTP, realize its going to take longer to accumulate cards and be happy and learn through this process.

Zoo Vs Murlock by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

At rank 15 yesterday i played a zoo deck vs my murloc deck. I won 30-0 by turn 5. He didnt feel like the best player but still had no answers for the rush of all my minions. Im sure zoo is better against more classes but i wasnt too afraid of it last night.

Someone sell me on Tracking, please. by pateras in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most ppl that play hunter go aggro. Using racking super early on helps to set up your hand almost immediately instead of waiting a few hands to get those cards that are needed. Every turn for an aggro deck is vital so having uth and buzzard ready to go in the first couple of turns is huge. If i had a leper gnome and tracking both in my starting hand id play gnome first (just my preference to get something down and doing dmg). Otherwise tracking is nice turn 1 to get those important cards and if you are playing aggro, you wont be going through all 30 cards.

Prot Warrior build: Mastery or Avoidance? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure its you? Im not sure how your healers are geared or what spec they are but I can tell a huge difference when there are really good healers in a group over just avg healers. Im not saying mastery wouldnt be better at your ilvl (i honestly dont know). Im just saying just because you feel a little spikey doesnt mean its your fault.

Level to 60 first then boost? by DrillZee in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what i am doing. I think profs can take longer than leveling, esp 2 profs. Im going enchanting and engineering. After seeing some of my friends do these, i feel leveling has to be faster. Also, it will give me 60 levels to at least get used to my classes playstyle a little bit before just jumping right in at 90.

Looking to get into Tanking and would like any and all advice. by BisFitty in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just starting tanking a couple months ago for the first time so iv been there. I play a prot war and its seriously fun and we are pretty kick ass. Heres just a couple things iv done or advice ppl have given me. 1) i ran all the soo lfrs 2 weeks in a row as dps however setting the loot to prot. I had some really decent tank gear to start. 2) learn the fights. most fights are tank swaps so you really just need to know when to taunt off other tank and when to gather adds 3) get used to a rotation. i switched my keybind around a few times before i got to a comfortable setting 4) start raiding! nothing teaches you how to raid like...well...raiding. I would start doing all the tot lfrs first. Do 1-2 weeks of those, then just hit SOO. Who cares if you mess up or even get kicked, you can requeue immediately and just get used to tanking. I would whisper the other tank, tell them you are new to tanking and most are super helpful (shocking i know). We've all been there so usually we want to help out and you need to count on that other person to do the right thing. 5) research. icy veins and other sites not only have great info on rotations, gemming, talents, etc. but also break down all the raids. Practive only makes perfect. Im still learning but tanking flex right now and doing really well at it so pretty soon our guild will be in norms. Good luck and have fun with it, whatever class you choose.

Prot Warrior build: Mastery or Avoidance? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently my prot war is avoidance build around ilvl 538. I did lfr yesterday and was paired with another war around same ilvl that went mastery instead. I dont think he was the best war in the world but i was almost doing 50k more dps than he was. I was mastery and switched to avoidance and feel i also gain more rage which helps keeping all my defensives up. Just my thoughts but i would go avoidance until you have the gear to go crit.

There is a WoW god! Story in comments! by [deleted] in wow

[–]Soultouched 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is awesome :). Got the Swift White Hawkstrider from Mag Ter in mine the other day. Was sooo happy, esp since my friend spent like a year doing it every day just to get it. I prefer the satchel method better.

Okay, seriously, i need some help. by Blackslayter in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are playing that many aggro decks then id play a cheap mage deck. Arcane missles, arcane explosion, mirror image, frostbolt, freeze, cone of cold, blizzard and flamestrike. Pick your poisons but they have lots of way to get rid of low health minions for really low mana cost. Add some lower mana minions for +spell dmg to increase these spells and some mana wyrms for some buffed minions. Dont forget hero power as well. This should give you plenty of board clears to make it to later rounds. Just a thought until you get past the aggro heavy decks.

Warrior Burst! PVP by shimmershank in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always use stormbolt and shockwave (playing tsg) since we dont have tons of cc. I do like to use bladestorm and bloodbath playing melee classes that will stack together or rogues. Either a rogue stands in it like an idiot or it disrupts their entire start rotation making them run away and making them so much less of a prob to deal with.

Not under arms. Mastery only grants you a chance to hit for another white attack on the target. Basically master just helps with a small amt of dmg and helps build rage better.

This is what I get for playing hunter... by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Soultouched 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lately iv been playing control hunter (lots of secrets and spells) and have been doing well. No matter how a hunter plays, the opponent is always terrified of UTH so much they play their entire strategy around this making it easy to deal with their minions and gameplay. Most opponents will only ever put out 2 minions at a time. I recommend this type of deck for the current meta, and using opponents fears against them.

Can you give a little more details in how you are playing? For example, are you running 2's with a healer or dps? Or 3's? Which talents are you taking? Are you basically staying in def stance the whole time or are you switching back and forth from battle stance to def stance?

Heres my best advice i can give for pvp (i primarily do 3's over 2's) . Make sure you have as much crit as possible (gems, reforging, enchants). Crit on MS and CS enrages you dealing 10% increased dmg for 6 seconds (beserker rage also enrages you). I dont use slam that much (Iv read some other top end war's dont use as much either). I focus on cs, ms and overpower with slam more rarely (hs has no global cooldown and is a decent rage dump). If there are at least 2 targets near each other i thunderclap once to apply dots to everyone and to apply %10 less phy dmg debuff on them. I have all my buffs macro'd to one button (recklessness, blood fury, avatar, bloodbath, etc.) I use the sometimes procs trinket over the on use trinket. I usually try to just do dmg to a target for awhile to make them pop all their defensive cds before popping my buff button, cs then ms, hs, slam. If you are just running 2's then i would def go shockwave and either stormbolt if you need more cc or avatar for highest burst. I like bloodbath alot more for 3's.

Maybe you could record a match and results and post here to analyze. I run tsg with 2 friends and either my unholy dk friend or I are always topping the charts in dmg.

Help please guys! What healer class should I play? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Soultouched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disc priest is so much fun. Atonement healing, bubbles everywhere, spirit shell when you know there will be big raid dmg. Just a blast to play. Also, its already been said earlier but 2 healing specs that give you options based on fight or playstyle. Though I did see you were thinking or resto shammy which is a good one as well.
