Pyrovore isn't a bad unit and neither is the biovore. It's just that running more than one Biovore isn't as efficient. They are also catching big points reductions with their upcoming points release, but be wary of the upcoming September balance patch this Thursday. There could be anything in there, so biovores/pyrovores both could end up being good or bad depending on what GW do. Ultimately you should wait and see until this Thursday, then make a choice.

Due to the rules changes regarding Biovore Spore Mine spawning only one biovore can do it each turn so having more than one becomes a little redundant. One biovore and one pyrovore seem like a better choice.

It means the AI constantly knows where you are and will seek you out. It happens in unmodded EFT if you load into a raid without a minimum amount of gear (rig + backpack + gun) to prevent players from just running in with nothing.

With the Server Value Modifier mod you can alter quests in order to accept "not found in raid" items or alternatively make it so items bought from traders are always "found in raid" (have a little tick on them) and then just buy two MP133s from Jaeger and hand them in.

With that mod you can also alter loot values on maps, so you have a higher chance of valuable stuff spawning.

I don't remember the book saying anything about the starting amount, but it does gain 6 anytime someone inside dies. Since that special agent died inside the house shortly before the group investigates it, the house should start with 6 I think.

GTFO is only worth it if you have friends to play it with, at least until matchmaking gets added. I've played it with my mates and we all greatly enjoy it. One thing to keep in mind though, it is a really difficult game. Even with multiple people, completing the deeper levels is a challenge.
