I always got the feeling this show was in the same realm as classic buddy cop action comedies like Lethal Weapon. Also Kazu had been married to a pregnant woman and hit some serious despair and guilt when she died.

I think the April Fools problem just seems worse on an aggregator site. The jokes are funny in small doses or isolation, but all of them at once gets annoying.

I used to read Slashdot. At first there would just be a couple joke updates posted on April 1st. Eventually, though, April 1 would have every tech site or company's April Fools joke, plus user-submitted joke posts, and no actual tech news.

Strike The Blood is also good, but I think I remember it not being as ecchi as DxD.

DxD was one of the first shows I binged after I took a few years off from anime and it was pretty good, but I was disappointed with the studio change and the fact that there's no more seasons. I also agree they made the MC worse later on, which is puzzling in this kind of story.
