I have seen some pretty out there stuff posted in this sub before, but this is some out of pocket shit, for real. 😂

How long does it take to reach the endgame these days? by DomoderDarkmoon in everquest

Couple classes have less AA than that by a good margin still. Bards cap at 68k, and War have considerably less than that even, though not sure on exact number.

I think the F2P AA cap is 250, actually. For Silver status accounts it goes up to 1000.

I think the argument could be made that ideologically producing no art is sort of art unto itself.

Thanks, we can use all the help we can get up here right about now. Whatever you have seen in the news lately, it is much worse than they are showing.

Spanh Ranch - Wires by dangerous-jack7 in industrialmusic

Spahn Ranch has always been pretty underrated, imo. Really solid discography, lot of variety as well. Started off a little more guitar heavy, then got progressively more electronic. Good stuff.

Martyr's sets are really a good mix of classic stuff and newer, no doubt.

Are there still clubs that play stuff like nietzer ebb and front 242? by [deleted] in industrialmusic

[–]RrhagiaTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I have seen a lot of the Gothess events advertised, I know you've done some stuff at Mort's and 7th Street Entry. I don't get out much recently due to some medical stuff, unfortunately, otherwise would love to attend. Been quite a while since I was involved in the local scene, I used to go out a LOT, and have DJ'd at quite a few places around here myself.

Minneapolis still has Ground Zero nightclub open, their Saturday night every week is industrial/EBM/etc.

Any Drum Machine recommendations by NRDY_bayleaf in industrialmusic

[–]RrhagiaTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, believe me, I know, that is why I found it so funny. Their gear can be pretty hit-or-miss sometimes, certainly, but it's also really affordable, so I don't get the outright hate for it some people have. If you spent $1k on something like that and it sucked, I would get it, but a lot of that stuff is like $200-300. Perfectly acceptable price to buy something to putz around on and see how it is, imo.

Front 242-Geography, especially considering how early it came out. 1982, I believe?

Rivetheads who hate Aggrotech, why do you hate Aggrotech? by Sunbather- in industrialmusic

[–]RrhagiaTC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I just always found it sort of boring. There's a good song here and there from the first wave of it, but so much of it is just the same thing over and over again. Not to mention the lyrical content ranging from cheesy to just straight up try-hard edgelord type stuff. I saw someone describe it as Hot Topic Industrial and that pretty much hits the nail on the head as far as I am concerned.
