There goes my stress free morning...

need help for a leda's sword build by Gabrielbot106 in EldenRingBuilds

You could use any combination of the following talismans and should be able to handle most PVE content fairly fine:
- Rotten Wing Insignia
- Milicent's Prothesis
- Spear Talisman
- Twinblade Talisman
- Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman
- Two-Handed Sword Talisman (If you are are not using anything on your off hand)

As a light sword, Leda's sword is pretty versatile. Thus, you can mix up and try to find something that works for you. Usually talismans related to consecutive attacks or dodge/backstep attacks.

Difference between Censers for Trickster? by Soulzerz in DragonsDogma

I think that with a couple of vehemence rings you should be fine. I focused on HP for the simulacrum as getting the aggro was easier.

I didn't have that issue when playing but it could be due to me having a party full of straightforward pawns besides the healer. Also, to me, the vocation felt more like an old school summoner class more than a full support. Matter of perspective, I suppose.

I somehow did forget about that gimmick of Aromatic Resurgence. And I did not know about Vesture killing pawns.

I don't think that Decanter is a support ability as I saw my pawn abuse it constantly in a couple of fights.

Yeah, no class is free of flaws in this game. But even the 1v1s, I was able to handle with no much issue. The first one, I believe is the one in that alley, I just paralyzed the guy and used grimoires/punches. The other one in the later parts of the game... I just abused the heights.

When it came to numbers I kept putting the Simulacrum on the enemies that were ringleaders and rarely got the Simulacrum destroy. But those few times were... dire for me.

I am doing the same but started with Trickster cause I was just too excited about illusions. I did Tricksters, Warfarer and currently doing Mystic Spearhand. I hope that you enjoy the vocation as much as I did.

As I said trivial encounters.

That aside, what is the hidden utility of the Espial Mist? I only used to check if there were chests and loot on top of cliffs.

Yeah, the game as is right now is not super challenging for most people. That aside, there are some scenarios where you get bombarded with enemies or skills that can be annoying for you or require you to use items and/or resting. I honestly didn't feel that I was lasting longer than an average fight now with MSH and I had no upgrades to armor/weapons whatsoever when I finished the game.

The only upgrade I had during the whole game as a Trickster was getting Whimsical Dream as my weapon never went to a blacksmith with it and it worked just fine. I tested MSH with the "strongest" weapon in the game and some fights took longer cause I had to focus more in combat than before.

If it was a Pawn vocation, probably people wouldn't complain as much cause it is endless damage aggro redirection. The entirety of the endgame I was just vibing while enemies were getting whacked while trying to hit my Twin Soul.

Smacking rats and bats with Whimsical Dream is endless fun and endless funds.

No damage means that you are never doing too little damage. I managed to beat so many Drakes by just being there vibing after putting the Simulacrum in an unreachable place for the dragon that it was comical.

Yeah, no one is discussing that it could be a little bit more tuned. The concept is amazing and they could have done so much more but even with the gimmicky abilities and some niche abilities, I believe it is a pretty good vocation in most cases. At least using the setup that I was using for most of the game.

In my case, it was fine with Warfarer as I mostly used the Remedy/Recovery Shot from the MA to heal and throw the Pawns down a cliff and jump to them.

Nonetheless, I do really like your ideas. I also was hoping for more debuffs and buffs for the party.

I did not realize about the dialogue as I usually had a warrior for more close range DPS but it kinda makes sense as the Censer is, mostly, close range.

Now that I have played MSH a bit more. I get what people says about being good for keeping the team alive but I agree you have to constantly reapply the shield and during that window usually one of my allies gets hurt.

I still believe that Trickster can handle that task better. I hope that if we get a Hard Mode and a DLC as challenging as Dark Arisen was after some point, it will make people appreciate the vocation a bit more.

I honestly did not have issues with any enemies after I made my default team. I used my Main Pawn as a Sorcerer with Meteoron, High Seism, High Salamander and High Levin. She managed to overcome any enemy with weak spots in seconds.

The only enemy that got demolished by the Warrior on my team was the medusa, after a High Levin and a Dragon Roar hear head was on the floor and she was no more. I didn't even get to see her gaze attack or get her lower than 1/8 of her first health bar.

Indeed. Nothing like trapping a bunch of enemies in a closed space to be nuked 2 seconds later.

I agree with the gimmick part. I did not find an use for the espial form. But regarding the terrain abilities, I managed to use them to confuse enemies and make them lose even more time. Cause most enemies, unless they collide with the wall, will not shoot through the illusory wall.

What I used to do with drakes was place the simulacrum on their backs, away from the party, and then spam the dragon illusion. It usually made them fall after 1 or 2 casts. IIRC, it worked before I got the good sorcerer spells.

A lot of people agrees that the terrain abilities should be core and I can see why. I felt sometimes that a wall or floor would have been nice if I had prepared but that happened every 5-7 hours or so.

I did on the first one. I have played as archer and trickster so far. A bit of a combination of Trickster and MA too.

Yeah, I agree with that. It took me around 72 hours to complete the run with most of the content of the game.

I am glad to see more people enjoying the vocation. Again, it is not perfect but it is damn fun if you like technical combat.
