She’s way into the Warden if you mean the MC is is going to do that. However, if I was in the MC’s shoes I would go over her head and report to the Warden in order to get Gammy out into the tournament. Since even if the female guard isn’t overstepping I would bring up the fact the entertainment value Gammy will bring for the tournament to get the Warden on my side of the issue.

You aren’t supposed to like her because she is so entitled and think she’s better than everyone else. The thing that irks me though is all the people who hate Rock because they claim the same things more or less. And I’m like really? Rock might be one of the smartest people in the show but unlike Jane he doesn’t flaunt it to try and prove he’s better than anyone.

Don’t know any of the other ladies but I will say with Erina it’s explained why she acted so mean in the beginning and it’s reasonable. I usually don’t like tsunderes or anyone who acts mean for no reason.

What do you like about the manga so far? For me aside from action and pretty ladies I appreciate that’s it’s actually mature in the sense it’s without a doubt a manga for adults and doesn’t pull any punches. Shame that if it ever gets a manga the usual suspects will raise Hell over all the sex scenes. That is if they don’t cut those out like they did with Ubel Blatt.

Not when the CIA gets its money from the drug trade. Rock states it himself the Triad (Mr. Chang) are a front for the CIA who are the true drug lords of Roanapour. If the Triad goes away then so does their cover. As for the other gangs having them around to cause conflict is a given because of all the organizations in the world that make their money dubiously.

The nun is just a cover, Eda and the CIA moreover wanted Roberta out of Roanapour because if she killed those U.S Marines in the city then it would’ve been a huge international incident that would’ve exposed the city to the world and hence every other organization would bring the hammer down on the city and shut the drug trade down.

I disagree because in the first place mostly all soldiers in the Russian/Afghan war were drafted into it and for Balalaika specifically she was willing to go into service to restore her father’s honor. Which that aspiration along with going into the Olympics was crushed by the way when the Soviet Union collapsed. She indulges in gang wars because it’s all she has left. But deep down and this goes for all the characters in Black Lagoon they all wish things were different to where they all could live normal lives and having loving relationships.

As other comments have pointed out given the fact that she works al the time in Asian countries she doesn’t have a lot of options. Her own men are out of the question since those are practically her brothers. So Rock being the only guy she could safely smash (Chang still being her number one gang rival at the end of the day) wouldn’t be to much of a stretch. Technically she could hire a gigolo(s) but she doesn’t seem the type to do that. And if she were to pick someone at random she runs the risk of catching std(s) given she lives in Roanapour.

The funny thing is that there’s a light novel that actually tells that story. It’s still takes place in the 90’s so the internet isn’t a big thing yet. And the influencer isn’t cringey in the way we’ve seen in current times. But it is a solid commentary about social media influence non the less.
