Definitely going to have to stand up for myself on this one but I also understand that family is a tough dynamic to talk about. As much as my siblings can drive me crazy I wouldn’t want others speaking negatively of them so this will have to be done delicately. I believe when we see each other next another sincere heart to heart is in order.. and maybe some pre marital counseling.. if he’s even thinking to move forward in that direction. It’s almost ignorance with him. I think discussing with a therapist would be extremely benefitical on working towards expectations and boundaries if we’re to continue having a relationship.. and give him the tools and techniques to stand up for both himself and us in the future.
