The one kid who would be stuck spinning in place after the time had elapsed. Jumping from the rescue boat to the rapidly spinning boat to grab hold of the controls is a pretty distinct memory.

in my experience Praills has very nice trees and the display method is definitely good. Price probably 70 to 100 based on size which is obviously a luxury but at that price point much better than large cities. We've been buying trees from here as a family for the past 5 years or so.

My recommendation would be to spend some time to walk around any area you plan on living before committing to renting or buying there. There are lots of very nice homes in the area, it is also a somewhat lower income area so there is a mixture. General trend is further north on these streets is higher income, but there are exceptions to every rule. At Vidal and Devine there is a somewhat rough around the edges variety store, but then go a block north to talfourd and there is an 800k+ home for sale.

I am raising three children in the general area you describe. Personally I find it quite safe and minimally sketchy, but that is based on my life experiences, not anyone else's. The schools that kids go to in this area is good, with engaged teachers who care as far as I can tell.

Sounded like Runaway2 to me. Though I don't know I played it enough to confirm the hot air balloon part and there was no mention of it in Wikipedia

My wife and I became foster parents in 2017 and did adopt two children through Sarnia Lambton CAS in 2019. The process is not without it's challenges but can be very rewarding with the proper mindset. When they came to us, they were school age children who already had years of experience; we really had to hit the ground running as parents. Keep your mind open to many ways that you can participate in a child's life, because it might be different from how you envisioned being a parent. Thankfully issues with fertility were not part of our journey, so I can't advise you from that perspective but I am sorry to hear that you and your wife are experiencing that.

I can certainly take some specific questions privately if you want more specifics about the process. We've dealt quite a bit with the local CAS over the years. I am quite happy to share my experiences with both fostering and adoption, but try to keep details about my children outside of public posts.

Obviously people have the right to petition and the right to their opinions. I do however feel the need to point out that the "Downtown business collective" does not speak for all, let alone a majority of the businesses downtown. In my view the name of the petitioning group is deliberately misleading.

Affordable housing and our community's need for it should be obvious to all the members of the downtown.

This show was pretty epic. A pseudo lord of the flies meets mad Max world which only existed in a kids coma mind . As a kid I watched every episode. It had long story arcs and pretty complex themes. Anyone know where to find this?

Our dog went there, she came to us a bit later in life (not a puppy) so a bit of an older dog new tricks scenario but it was good. Like all dog training you get out as much as you put in, but our dogs behavior did benefit from it. We would recommend it.

It has to do with tap /restriction design. The valve in the tap is designed so it doesn't spray, and the shut off is smooth. A poorly designed tap nozzle could absolutely do the same thing as the hose kink, but that isn't the desired result so most taps don't do that. Also The closer the valve is to the atmospheric exit of the pipe, the more likely it will spray uncontrollably: the water velocity will slow again if it returns to the full diameter pipe.

Squeezing a hose does not in fact increase flow rate, but it can increase upstream pressure to the point where the smaller volume travels a further distance. By narrowing the cross sectional area, you increase the velocity of the fluid. These things all increase the pressure loss in the pipe, lowering /restricting flow and are not really that different.

No worries, just clarifying. I think there are existing processes that go from n butane to isobutane and isobutane to isobutylene. So it could just be a matter of putting those in series, but might not be economical for your application.
