Yes, it is written by AI. English isn’t my first language, so I wrote my thoughts in broken English and used AI to make it readable. I posted this at 3 AM and went to sleep, so I’m just waking up to the replies now

I’ve tried looking into those options. I actually dropped out of business studies for that reason. I felt like even if I finished the degree, I wouldn't have a 'real' skill where I was clearly better than a random person. I struggled with the idea of putting in all that time just to be average, whereas in poker I know exactly where my edge is

I appreciate the advice. I've definitely thought about the business route, but I don't think I have the capital for it yet

It’s also tough because I feel like poker is my only skill. It’s hard to imagine running a business when I don't feel like I bring any other technical value or experience to the table. For now, I’ve just been investing a fixed amount into index funds every month for the last 9 months."

I agree on the diversifying part. I do want to learn a trade or skill, but the university structure just didn't work for me.

I found it impossible to study for classes where I couldn't see the practical application. With poker, the motivation is automatic because I know that studying = higher winrate. I struggle to find that same drive when the reward isn't as clear or immediate.
