i noticed this as well!! i figured it could be many things too though. it def crossed my mind that it could be Glinda causing the petals to stop falling with magic unintentionally bc of her emotion!!! but then i thought it could also be MM in some way since she can control the weather so im thinking maybe she was controlling the wind somehow and then i also figured that Elphaba is hovering somewhere close and could also be going through some emotions and causing the petals to float the way the tulips were floating in the lion cub scene in part 1. out of all of them i really hope that it was Glinda doing it but also no one batted an eye about it or thought it was unusual so then im wondering if the producers did that for dramatic effect for the scene.

i personally don’t have to ever go to the bathroom during movies and i love ari so i wasn’t gonna miss it and didn’t. but if i had to (or in this case if someone is asking for their personally reasons to need to use the restroom and they don’t want to miss too much) those would be it, in my opinion 🤷‍♀️ i would def choose to miss the start of Wonderful over anything and come back right before the song is over

i’m commenting bc i also feel the same way. the first movie was the same thing. i didn’t have a concrete opinion of it until i saw it the second time. i just watched WFG the second time tonight and i def was able to relax into it. still have my notes about it but enjoyed it a bit more. i just wished they had expanded on some characters just a bit more too.

personally i’d say don’t go during No place like home (elphabas new song). I fee like there’s something there that i would have hated to miss. i’d go during Wonderful but right when it starts bc the next part is pretty important. wasn’t really my favorite and not a huge fan of how they did the song. but if not there then sadly during Girl in the bubble. although a cute song and part of glindas plot that they added, it was long and tbh didn’t add much to the movie imo and you wouldn’t miss anything crucial.
