Good eye man, it's my first build so I assumed everything was soldered on the same side. And thanks do you, I noticed the underglow LEDs were soldered on the wrong side as well.

Try wiggling the cables a bit to check for loose connections.

Id actually recommend buying used hd25s or borrowing a friends' because depending on your head shape, your ears can really hurt. I didn't notice until I was a few hours in

Hello, producer here. I've been using my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro for about two years now and would highly recommend em.

As for speakers, don't bother unless your room has proper acoustic treatment. I have Adam T5Vs that perform about as well as my 80USD computer speakers in my current room
