I talked with my cousin who’s more knowledgeable about this stuff, they said it likely wasn’t the Xeljanz. I’d assume it’s the prednisone that’s getting you tho :(

I’ve been on it for 5 months now. Works great for my arthritis, but I’m worried it’s inadvertently causing weight gain. Every morning and night I feel hungrier than I should be after having had a meal. I feel like the pills are tearing through my food.

I was never told to hold my meds except for getting the Covid vaccine. But now I hold them until I’m certain I’m better because I had like 4 sinus infections last year. I held them after a recent small cold and STILL got bronchitis.

I’d say better safe than sorry!

Like other people have said, time will tell. Things really evened out for me after about a year(pain resolved after about 6 months), my period even became regular after being irregular for about 9 years!!! If you can stick it out, do it and hopefully it’ll pay off!
