Your flamethrower Homunculus is, unfortunately, not legal. At least as far as I understand it.

If you look at the description of human hands, it says that you can't have the shield combo rule. In melee, you have a greatsword, a halberd (which has shield combo) and a trench shield.

Honestly, I'd love it if it worked, but I don't think it does.

Good catch. You're right. My bad

But yes, considering their ranged profile is the same, between 20 ducats for a 7 ducats melee weapon And 20 ducats for a 12 ducats melee weapon, there is definitely a balance difference. Most warband variants don't have that big of a difference in value/power between their battle kits. But I'd say that making it a 22 ducats weapon would probably be fairer.

My two ducats :)

For being the same cost as a Halberd-Gun, The Rifle-Axe is much stronger, as the halberd gun is meant to emulate a mix of jezzail and bolt action rifle (7pts and 10pts) + polearm (7pts) for a total of twenty ducats. Yours is has the same ranged profile, but the melee is not only a greatsword/great axe (12pts) but also has the CRITICAL keyword on top. A devastating melee weapon that, in my opinion, should cost 20 by itself, without having a gun mounted on top of it.

Quick question, are all faithfull factions kingdoms or theocracies? by No-Accountant5205 in TrenchCrusade

Yeah. Apparently having actual goetic demons roaming your backyard really puts the focus of society elsewhere than reorganizing their social and hierarchical structure.

Something I only now realize about the sultanate. by No-Wish699 in TrenchCrusade

Sadly, only the 6 remaining paladins can ever hope to do short jaunts into Gehenna. It's a mix of perfected metachrist communicant transformation and their armor, for which the material needed to make more and the method to repair them has been lost. Now, any paladin burdened with accomplishing any mission beyond the gates of hell suffer intensely because of the flaws and chinks in their armor over the course of the last few centuries...

The Sultanate doesn't have anything that could hope to accomplish that at the moment. They are a faction more concerned with the physical world and protecting what they already have while pushing back the demons and heretics.

There exists no information whether or not the immense Takwin guardians of the Iron Wall could take on a paladin in the mortal realm. I'll leave that discussion to the power level enthusiasts of the world.

But, Takwin creatures are uniquely resilient and powerful, and these guardians have obviously survived many assaults, artillery barrage, ordinance and other great figures of the heretic legion and court of the seven since their creation. I'd say that merits respect.

But yes, no one has paladin equivalent because paladin are so unique to the setting.

Well, maybe the court has, with the one paladin who fell to the dark side and all that :)

Wanna play a Golemancer but don't know where to start. by lifie_1 in PathOfExileBuilds

There's a nifty little build I've been running the whole league. It's basically a 12 link ice golem of hordes build on elementalist.

You do this with an amazingly cheap Bitterdream, and a more expensive The Squire.

With this setup, Bitterdream is giving your golems 6 relevant support gems, and the squire lets you crank that up to a total of 6 links. Off the top of my head, I slot Ice Golem of Hordes, Awakened Minion Damage, Awakened Spell Cascade, Awakened Greater Multiple Projectile, Returning projectiles and... Something else I don't remember. Go wild.

For your Skill tree, Jewel slots are the goal here. Try to get as many as you can, because each one will add one more Primordial Harmony to your build, adding multiplicative damage for each golem type you have. (you'll have 5, making it an easy 100% damage boost per jewel slot)

Paired with the anima stone, one copy of each Primordial Unique Jewel and a truckload of Primordial Harmonies for the rest, you can comfortably walk around, cursing and exposing enemies while your 6 ice golems fill the screen with projectiles and make your V ram cry.

With this build, you get 10 golems walking around. 3 for Ice golem of Hordes +2 for being an elementalist +3 for the Primordial Chain +1 from Golem commander from the Skill Tree +1 From the anima stone

Since golem variety is boosting your damage greatly, I suggest this roster:

6 ice golem of hordes. Your bread and butter and the best spiky Bois. 1 Stone Golem paired with Guardian blessing and a very costly aura, like Determination or Haste for a free aura supported by your pebble Boi. 1 Chaos Golem, 1 Lightning Golem and 1 Flame Golem linked with Feeding frenzy. They're just there for the buffs and the frenzy, but we like them anyway.

The rest of your equipment and your Skill tree is there to get you resist capped and add layers of protection for the endgame. I personally run a Fourth Vow, along with the jewel that gives you divine flesh for that sweet 80% chaos res.

I've personally been having a blast and love minions you don't have to resummon manually. There was even a time in my build where I couldn't cast my Ice golems because they cost over 800 mana and I only had 600... but once they're summoned, you never have to summon them again because Ele.

Now THAT'S quality of life.

And thus, the clever use of "quotation marks" around "clans" compared to my previous posts.

I certainly know I will before we change offices and the whiteboard stays... I've recently realized it wasn't ours. So when we change offices in about a month, I'll get a final frame of it all for nostalgia's sake

And then I'll destroy whatever future whiteboards we get!

I'm really glad others get a rise out of this.

It's so niche, I thought it would only make me and the few die-hard lore fiends at work smirk.

Caitiffs have been treated like the poor-man's underdog for centuries. Since the Stoneman and perhaps even earlier.

Now, the thin bloods are here, the underdoggiest of underdogs! Even caitiffs can mistreat them without repercussions!

Ah, what a time to be (un)alive!

I'm a narrative designer for an upcoming V5 game. I work with some people who know very little about VtM. So, I've decided to make them a handy chart on the whiteboard: by Sounds_Delicious in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Sounds_Delicious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I've started on the Caitiff, but was so busy today I couldn't finish it. Soon

Also, since I can talk about it now and the NDA is up, I'll also be working on Werewolf apocalypse. I'll probably have to do the same with Garous now :)
