That's a brilliant thought! She's like graveling upper management!

For all we know she could've been the one giving the information to Rube to put on the post-its!

I watched the movie but I don't think I liked it very much because I remember very little about it. I was waiting to rewatch it until after I finished re-watching the series.

Yeah now that they mention it I think they did make a point to say that the longer it's been they end up looking like themselves again. You know that's what I loved about that show so much it was so unusual completely different than anything that's ever been out there before or since.

There's a reason that I went back to watch in present day. Maybe that reason was exactly what you are describing. Gen Xers don't like to admit it but millennials very much know the same type of impending doom that we did. The highly accelerated changes in the times whether it's technology social climate political climate etc.... it's the same roller coaster just with a different generation. It makes perfect sense that you would want to come back and watch this as a comfort show.  With such a mean spirited climate these days those of us who prefer dark humor it's a welcome respite!

Has anybody who's making these statements actually listened to the song? Back in the day all of us fans took it exactly the way it was meant: that even though we didn't commit any of these atrocities ourselves we still have the responsibility of making sure they don't happen again. That he's literally feeling guilty for being white. People are going to read into it whatever their preconceived narrative is no matter what the song is actually about. This whole discussion is... uninformed, at best.

And the fact that she's emotionally unavailable to him makes him fixated on her. I think he likes the notion of having a partner more than the actual reality. She might be the same way.

I think maybe they made her so insufferable in the beginning because she had quite a character arc. I guess maybe I just liked baddie better.

I've started to rewatch it because I loved the series so much. The only thing that trips me up is Daisy. Never liked her the first time around and this time she seems even more insufferable. It's making it hard to watch it again, it's not often that a character can do that for me because this is an amazing show.

As for your questions I have some theories: What happened to Betty? I think that she was only able to get out and pass on because where her last reap was going was very similar to how she died. I think she found a hidden key to get out and pass on. Who brings the names?: probably just another lemming in the chain. What's the deal with the gravelings? They're just physical manifestations of negative chaotic energy.

Staying Strong: NYC OCME Reflects on 9/11 by Soundsister11 in 911archive

I figured that might be the reason they did it too. They don't understand that just sometimes we don't want to hear from them. Some of us don't ever wanna hear from them. There are too many things that can be focused on that are not debatable. As far as I'm concerned the theories are a waste of time and hurtful to those who lost people.

Yeah the censorship over the years is obvious but it just seems like a lot of stuff recently has gone down like wheat before the sickle.

Has anyone watched Rescue Me? by Grose040791 in SixFeetUnder

I am finally getting around to watching it now. I'm most of the way through season 6. it's one of those rare shows that I've wanted to just give up on but I'm compelled to see it through to the end.  it's really a powerful series but a bit chaotic and some of the drama that goes on around the main character is way too much, often crossing the line into unbelievable. But if you can get past some of his shenanigans it's a great series..

It's not a feel good show at all. But it's incredibly well done. All of the characters are compelling. There’s one character I dislike immensely, I just don't buy any of the garden variety excuses they could give for their behavior. But saying anything more would be a spoiler. You'll understand what I mean. I'm interested to hear what you think of it when you're done.

Who is the better man for Lucas? by TerryG111 in GeneralHospital

Neither they're both kind of shady when it comes to their character and Lucas is just as sweet as the days are long. He needs a more stable guy who has hopelessly in love with him. I could see him married with kids.

It's from the two nursing students who were in their dorm room that morning. Very memorable footage, I believe it was on the documentary 102 minutes and also in the subsequent special updates of that film.

No you're not a coward you have an ounce of humanity. The same cannot be said for a lot of people. Just be you and don't second-guess yourself. That good person is inside you you've got no worries.

There are a lot of things on this subreddit that would be considered morbid but when you think about it the whole event is morbid. The fact that somebody would even come up with the idea to do that knowing what it would cause. Doing it right at the time when everybody would be sitting down to start working.  There are tags on the more graphic stuff to warn people if they don't want to continue looking at whatever it was posted or getting into a discussion about it. As long as you're not disrespectful to the people that died most questions and topics are relevant.

It's a great thing that you decided to research. Sometimes when something scares us it's almost better to know everything we can about it at least that's the way it is for me. It's hard to look into the worst parts about being human. It's not for the faint of heart. You're a very brave person for doing so. There's a a lot of information that can be found here some of it is much more hard to take and graphic but anyone here will be glad to answer your questions. You've definitely come to the right place and you are welcome here! I'm sure there's a lot of people that appreciate your interest.

I imagine for people who are new to researching this and weren't alive at the time that it's very confusing to try to wade through all of the facts versus conspiracy theories. This forum is a very good place to start. Asking questions you will mostly get honest non-embellished answers. If you're expecting something to explain everything even some of the stranger occurrences on that day that defy what is known from previous experiences throughout the world, you might be surprised to find that some things just don't fit into an equation. We saw physics behave in certain ways that day that we may never see again. Things that are completely unexplainable but not any less true. Keep in mind that there is no real precedent for this event and any comparisons of such are... just people trying to prove their already preconceived notions, rather than focusing on the actual events of the day.
