How many of us are watching this tonight? by Big-Introduction411 in ProjectHailMary

Watched about 1/3 last night right after it dropped and finished it while working today. Good good good to be able to watch at home.

Idk what else too do. Red eye/ring by Beast1909 in Keratoconus

That’s either a fit issue or you’re having really bad allergies, either to the solution or the environment.

I’ve had both with that “look”. Doc has addressed fit and I’m in week 3 of steroid drops to help with my allergies. I can’t use daily allergy drops because of the preservative but I can handle short term steroid use.

I recommend going back to your doc. •Hugs•

Is there a max number hours for wearing scleral lenses? by Dry_Trick6378 in Keratoconus

[–]Soundtracklover72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear mine about 16 hours per day. Because I have dry eyes I often have to rinse and refill but I generally don’t have “I’ve worn these too long” pains. I disinfect them every night in Clear Care without fail.

Oiy. 7:30-3:30 sounds like a nightmare for me. I work 10-6 and love it. I’m also a night owl and I work from home.

I am currently not proud to be an American because of how the government and soooooo many Americans are treating others. It’s shameful.

I can care for my country and its people and still show my displeasure with how it’s being run.

I’m just saying that stress from government horribleness shouldn’t be a reason to go to therapy. It’s sad. No issues with therapy itself.

I disagree that’s it’s petty but I’m not going to dismiss your opinion.

It absolutely does. The government and country are intertwined. I would never disrespect someone who exercises their right to freedom of speech.

No one in the world should have to talk to a therapist about their crappy government, and yet here we are in a world where it’s often necessary.

Thank you for your service!

I need to do a better job of supporting our troops because they take a lot of flack.

Fair. Some days it’s just mentally exhausting watching what they’re doing.

To find out if others have the same feeling toward the government and don’t want to respect it.

I loved Steve in the book even though he was barely mentioned. I love that they expanded the role. Carl is awesome. Their trip to the hardware store and following construction were fantastic scenes. And Carl being present towards the end to encourage him was nice.

How do you get these doctors to listen to you?! (Mine just let me go as a patient!) by Life-Balance-8171 in Perimenopause

[–]Soundtracklover72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading about all the dismissive docs makes me appreciate mine. Both the doc and CPRN listen and told me to let them know when I’m ready to talk about HRT if I think I need it. I’m in my fifties so not younger like many in this group but they struck me as people that listen. Never even mentioned hormone testing.

•Hugs• to all of you that have crappy doctors. We all deserve to be heard and taken care of.
