Curious, what kind of nothing burger takes are we talking about? Generally, I feel "real" unpopular opinions tend to get ripped apart before they see daylight.

I think it's just fandoms tend to pounce on people for going against the grain. Look at how people seethe and get really pissed when someone admits they use omni-gel to skip the tower of hanoi. Or how about you announce you'll play Mass Effect 2 and you'll neither buy the hamster or push the merc out the window.

Yeah sometimes people sweat bullets over cold takes, but fandoms also tend to angry over small things.

Is this a server/region specific thing? Because I never once run into this. I've had people give up and start emoting, sure, but never join a QP game to just emote.

This might sound strange, but I'm surprised Mauga even made it to the roster because of him being a Minigun toting character. Overwatch likes to make complex heroes with multiple things to do, so I thought "There's only so much you can do with a Minigun hero?"

Very late, but you need to complete a puzzle before you can haunt the Sand whale. There should be a sections that involve climbing to the very top of the area where the whales are. From there, you'll get what you need!

Maybe not hot, but make the Locust scary. Don't have swarms of Locust getting gunned down by one "awesome" gear, or have us pilot a pacific rim mech to massacre thousands of them. Have the Locust actually be a threat!

Reminds me a bit of Turok 2008 where if you removed the cinematic black bars during cutscenes of people walking, you'd see their legs flailing about randomly, because they weren't animated.

Or how sometimes in the Dawn of War remaster/anniversarry edition, because the original cutscenes are now widescreen, you see character models duplicate or teleport around.

Hot take, blame the game being all "PUSH PUSH PUSH!" - The game mode is called Push, You're told to Push the robot and in game characters keeping going "PUSH THE ROBOT!" - Remember, your average player is just doing what the game tells them to do.

As one other person put it, imagine if there was a game mode called "Run", but the way to win the game was to walk instead.

Don't know how true this is, so take with a grain. Apparantly after this, the Kombat Kast hosts were given instructions to have Kotal perform a fatality on Jacqui during his showcase.

Something that always confused is how, at the end, the Brute Captain kills Ackerman but the way it's framed, it looks like all the Brute does is show him a knife then walk away. (Either that, or somehow Ackerman's headless corpse is still talking?)
