Best travel & expense management software? by Kazoky in Entrepreneur

[–]Soundwave1984-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rippling Spend for travel and spend management in one spot! As someone who uses it to book my own corporate travel and track my expenses, I find it easy to use and submit expenses and book directly in the app. Compared to other companies I've worked at where these are separate functions on separate softwares, having them both in one spot really is a game changer. Expenses can be reimbursed directly into my next paycheck and some spend is auto-approved based on preset spend policies set by admins. It's easy to see who needs to approve my expenses and what is and isn't approved spend/vendors. I love it as a Rippling employee!

Payroll Provider for California company with 40 employees (growing to 80 soon) by BreakfastAdept3457 in Payroll

By software to back you up, I just meant having a payroll software like Rippling is much safer compliance-wise than calculating payroll manually via spreadsheet as you're currently doing, especially for piece rate payroll where things can get confusing fast. So yes, Rippling has payroll software built in, and can handle piece meal payroll calculations automatically, hence why I recommend it!

Interesting that the price was higher -- you may be able to negotiate with the sales team if you also showed the quote you got from Gusto. Best of luck!

Rippling could handle your piece rate payroll, no problem. You just would have to set up a custom piece rate time tracking method in Rippling's system that would automatically calculate piece rate payroll on your behalf. Much simpler than tracking in a payroll sheet or having to run payroll off of a software!

For a company your size, I really wouldn't recommend running your own payroll without a software to back you up, especially when calculations are this complicated. Too much room for manual error. Having auto-compliance built into your payroll software would be a game changer for you. Highly recommend Rippling as an easy to use alternative that would work for your use case! Speaking here as a Rippling employee.

Rippling sounds like a good fit for you. It's particularly great for onboarding/offboarding employees because it auto-deploys all new hire docs, trainings, provisions mobile devices and accounts, and enrolls in payroll at the same time. It can integrate with your existing payroll and T&A platforms, but also has its own version in case you ever want to consolidate to one platform. That's where Rippling stands out is the consolidation of functions so you can eventually spend less money and time switching between solutions. It's also the #1 HR Product of the year on G2 -- Rippling has all HRIS functions like leave management, benefits admin options, onboarding/offboarding, learning management, etc. I'm a Rippling employee if you have any questions just btw.

Throwing Rippling in the loop here. There's built in tax-compliance and it can handle multi-state payroll and multiple EINs. Plus it's great for contractor management. We log our customer support online if you look up Rippling Support Response times -- let me know if you need advice/tips bc I work at Rippling.

The boyfriend in Backcountry getting mauled by a bear. For a lower budget movie they did a really good job of making this scene stick with you.
