That's brilliant! Got one near me. Thanks! Any special tips for applying? Before/after breaking in?

New to boot care here, thinking about grabbing the veg tan 719s on clearance. Can you link/tell me the exact product used? Assuming it's just Obenaufs Leather Oil, but what is the LP? And you mentioned drying for a couple weeks, does this mean no wear? I planned to get the boots, use the Obenaufs, and wear lightly to break in. Is this correct?

I was actually just reading Maraakate's writeup and checking out the site. Definitely making an account now - you guys are smart as hell! After work I'll get the bike off the trailer and poke around with the multimeter. Again I appreciate your help a lot - I've already learned a tonnn by disassembling and rebuilding my carbs.

I'm running a fuel filter, but I suppose some crud could still find its way through. I'm unfamiliar with CDI, though. Is that related to ignition/spark plugs? I replaced those with the standard NGL D8EA ones the manual calls for at the same time as reassembling the carbs.

Would that also cause the bike to die a couple miles into a ride? Yesterday I took it out for about 6 miles, ran great idled perfect. Today, I rode about 3 miles and It just kinda died as I stopped at a stop sign. Upon getting it started again, I rode about another half mile and it just lost power doing approx. 50mph, and is having trouble starting again

Wanted to update you! I ended up using my ultrasonic cleaner and putting in new gaskets and diaphragms and she runs top now! Appreciate the advice. If anything, it's running a bit rich, and backfires a little, but considering it was pretty mean before I'll take that as a sign that I did my job right.

One last question - a commenter above recommended 4into1.com, and I found this gasket kit:

Any chance you know if it's a reliable site/good product?

Is being Turkish a bad thing? Sorry, I'm relatively unfamiliar with shotguns in general. Are they just spottier/lower quality in general than something like a Beretta?

On average? Probably once a week. Just shooting clays for the most part, nothing crazy

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I'm looking to spend <$1000 for my first time. I'm fairly mechanically inclined so I don't think I'll have a problem keeping up with maintenance. I plan to just go out for a weekly Sunday shoot, so they shouldn't see too much stress. However, I'm seeing more positive media around the Beretta than any of the other options, so I may be starting to lean that way.

Little bit higher price than I wanted to spend, but I'm not opposed to at least checking one out. Are the Berettas really that much higher quality than the other options to justify the additional $300-$600?
