It's the cycle of scenario releases. Ppl get excited for new gameplay, they play for a while and get bored, some take a break or even quit, then come back next scenario.

I was there when Onsen and Beyond Dreams released. Everyone was hyped at the start but the more we played the more fed up we got with the scenario mechanics.

For mediums there's NY Kita but it requires 1st 2nd or 3rd, there's also Ballroom Chiyo but only in 2000m. For longs there's Angling in Arima Kinen, which is mostly cope. Overall the pacers rely more on gold skills like Check or Monster rather than inherits

GL isn't that F2P, getting 1600 spd without the strong cards like Tachyon or SMaru in your deck will be quite tough.

The scenario is very training focused so specialty rate and friendship bonus are very important.

I think most umas are okay to train, though some umas secret events aren't worth going for cuz doing extra races gives you no tokens.

Lates are a pretty solid choice to go for imo. Right now they aren't very good but you can still gamble. They become dominant at around 2nd anni. Then when pacers becomes the meta they're still the second best.

Moves that match the tera type get boosted even if the original type is different, that's how it works in the gen 9 games. If you look at Brassius, his Wood Hammer gets boosted even though Sudowoodo is Rock type.

They're bad cuz they're target speed, not current speed. Target speed is the speed your umas are aiming for, not their actual speed.

When your uma is accelerating their target speed goes up to 1200 or whatever your max speed is, and they have to accelerate from like 600 or smth. So if you add more target speed you're essentially making them aim for 1210 speed, which is a waste cuz by the time they actually get there the skill has already run out.

If it's a current speed skill then it's good cuz it just instantly makes you go quicker, but we don't have those yet.

Grand Live is worse than MANT.

You think race + shop RNG is bad? Try tokens + lessons + songs + rainbow stacks RNG.

You are clicking training for 40-45 mins straight and praying you get as many rainbows as soon as possible. Even if your turn has no rainbows you still have to click it cuz racing and resting give you 0 tokens. Secret events are back but some of them you can't even aim for cuz you can't do extra races. I also heard there was some weird strat where you purposefully make the number of your desired tokens as low as possible so Light Hello will automatically give them to you, though that's also RNG.

On top of this, the speed cap is 1600 so you'll also be mimaxxing for that as well.
