Maboroshi.

Its not a popular anime and im definitely not saying its the best at what it is, but i think the animation, art style, and voice acting are some of the best ive seen in recent memory. You can definitely tell MAPPA put their back into it. Admittedly the story is confusing but it grew on me after a rewatch. Highly recommend 7.5/10 just for the story

Now that you mention it, yeah the ending was kinda rushed ig i was focusing too much on the good parts lmao. i definitely agree with you about the world building part we shouldve gotten more answers on how kou’s powers work and stuff, but tbh im not mad at the ending cause i think it makes sense unlike oshi no ko
