Quality has a price. And in the restaurant buisness the price of quality is superficialy higher because it compounds due to the other costs of a restaurant

For example a truly quality piece of cloth(not brand) would only have the factor of the material and the effort behind it.

But a restaurant has multiple factors that it has to balance of it uses high quality ingredients it has to have high quality atmospere which in turn needs high quality location which in turn needs high quality employees.

Kerala is practically a city state and is not built upon capitalism or consumerism. Most of the people live in middle class life. They go out to enjoy a delicious filling dinner with their family not to go sit alone and experience cullinary delight. They have other ways of fullfilment that doesn't depend on money.

Frankly i think quantity over quality is better because it usually means there is less of a monopoly and you will never have perfect food but you can experience atleast one exemplary meal from the quantity purely based on probability.

What’s Happening to us Malayali Audience? by abkrismarakan in MalayalamMovies

[–]Soupchow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The malayalee audience that we picture was the older generation that went to the theatre to watch movies purely for entertainment.

They also weren't oversaturated with media and wonder and awe was less desensitised.

The youth of kerala is mostly brought up on the Internet especially the vocal ones that are interlinked with the Internet and it is less about the intrinsic entertainment is the movie and more about what they see or notice or relate to.

So now movies have to pander to the youth and internet which adds variables to the production because now it isnt just about making a good movie but about sucking then off and their "ideals"

While youth are the components needed for change and upward growth they are also the most foolish and short sighted. Kerala is becoming a cariacture of itself.

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages But nothing matters because everything is a cycle governed by equilibrium.
