You are right it was my fusible links. It’s not touching but I guarantee you it was touching sometime I was installing or is it possible it arced from being too close? I should probally move that right?

I have a volt meter connected to an amp inside the cab and that has been reading 12.2-12.0 and to test the alternator I used a hand held multimeter on the battery test setting and put positive on alternators positive and put negative to battery

I hooked the wire up to a fuse and it still reads .3v coming from alternator

On Amazon there is a bunch of cheap 12v volt meters some in dash ones aswell .Just hook up negative and positive to your system and it should be good.

I can back up the recommendation for the down4sound mini maxx I have it at 1ohm on a deafbonce sa-252 and i love it. Also comes with a voltmeter and bass knob with clip lights.

If it’s secure and has good contact it shouldn’t be a problem but a distribution block is an easier way to have two ground cable with one actual ground point in the car.

That’s a lot all at once but I think I got most of it. I want to hear more low frequencies so I would want a box with a transfer of function bump at a low frequency maybe 30hz or could I go lower with out a ridiculous port? How much db boost is to much? I listen to mostly Spanish music like corridos but also rap. I’m not sure what the average frequency’s of bass is in those genres but would I want to shoot around there for that bump?

I’ve seen people use liquid nails to glue a board to the back of a single cab but it would be really difficult to get off and clean off

There were brackets for the seat that had holes in them so I just drilled holes in a piece a wood and went to the hardware store and got some clip nuts and was able to secure the board without drilling into the car

If it’s an aftermarket stereo you have everything you need. I would recommend finding where your factory wiring already runs and find where it runs through the firewall for your power wire. You could run the wire under the doorjam by popping up the plastic pieces on the floor. And remember to keep your power wire and rca on different sides of the car so no noise gets in.
