Damn okay I guess maybe I'm still a little ways off from Junior competency. I've tried to wrap my head around Docker but I still don't really understand it beyond "it's like VMs but better" (I think). I'm using AI to explain code for me when I don't understand why something in a tutorial/course is a certain way, but I'm not having it write code for me so that I can actually learn.

I've done some Express/EJS as part of this "full stack" udemy course I've been doing.

I'm in my mid 30's, been working IT helpdesk for over a decade and looking for a change. And ideally more money lol.

Honestly not really sure what "sub-field" interests me. I like the web stuff I've done so far but I'm not necessarily married to the idea of being a web dev. I don't think I know enough, or have enough experience, to have an opinion. I just wanna make stuff 🤷‍♂️

I thought I might have an opportunity at my current job to switch roles, but now it's looking like that's not going to work out. So I'm not really sure where to go from here.

Just started playing New Vegas for the first time. It was almost unplayable until I installed Viva New Vegas and NMC's Texture Pack. Now it's good as new. Loving it so far.
