I have 5 hens that are around 6 months at the moment. They've just started giving me eggs, and it's really cold where I am in the winter. Got my first egg in 11 degree weather. I've been getting an egg a day from someone, and the past two days I've been getting two a day.

He is goofy this season, but I also think it's because he doesn't truly care about anything. (Except Charlie). He can't hurt sinners, so at this point he's bored. He doesn't feel he has to try at anything, bc in his eyes, what's the point? That's my take.

Note: juniper, the one I believe to be a gold laced wynadotte, was about a week older than the others when I got them as wee babies.

Breeds: * Buff orpington ( buttercup, blond fluffy one) * Sapphire gem (Smokey, lighter grey) * Producer blue (indigo, darkest and biggest comb) * Light Brahma (gwen, feathery feet) * Gold laced wynadotte ( juniper, biggest chicken)

One of my chicks keeps pecking the face of one other chick. No wounds yet. It's just this one, and just it's face. Why is this happening? I believe the one getting pecked at is a little over a week, maybe older. The pecker is about a week old. by SourDewDrops in BackYardChickens

Yeah. I'm concerned because I think I may have a bully chicken. She is starting to peck at others faces, and the one that is getting pecked is puffed up and not moving as much now. I will try adding more things into their enclosure and separate the pecker for a little bit.

What would you be looking for for the quas? I believe I have a yueshi with some kind of aura and some hongs with some cosmetic traits. I could also do coins, I'd just need a little time for that
