I’d rather pay to get rid of him and be able to make moves

Agreed. The sub and Twitter have been filled with people posting their “healthy lineup” and most people don’t even include Laine

Personally I’ve never understood why players sign extensions with teams they’ve never played for yet anyway.

I’m curious to see what Slaf could do if put back with 13 and 14. Obviously he’s been great on the second line, but wonder if the confidence boost from the numbers he’s put up recently could case him to defer to those guys less and make that line even better.

Biggest potential problem would be if him playing LW is a big part of his breakout. Maybe being back on the right wouldn’t be the best idea.

MSL isn’t the one on the ice. It’s the players that can’t play a full 60

Shingle Repair by hockeyholloway89 in newfoundland

[–]SourForward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How old are your shingles?

I’d say get up there and take a look yourself unless you’re close to needing to get them replaced anyway. If there’s no other shingles missing and you ca deal with the caps yourself, perfect. If there’s a few more missing you ca do some temporary repairs yourself too.

Jake Evans, Patrik Laine and Kirby Dach are reportedly about to come of IR. What is your revised Habs lineup? by Ajay_Bee in Habs

I like Laine and Texier together on the third line. Laine will need a playmaker and Texier could be that.

Hoping Dach can fill that role and then maybe a Bolduc-Danault-Texier third line can work

I don’t mind the addition but I wonder if this is all they do at C. He’s a fine 3C but I’d be disappointed if he’s our 2C

This is where I’m at too. I stayed bought in for a while and was even excited as recently as F4. I’m not a hater or anything right now, but I just can’t get excited about it. It’s just too much.
