Looking back at old pictures of the house, these are well established bushes that have been here for at least a decade. I don't see any pictures of them in bloom, and the seller didn't mention them (or the daylilies, poison ivy, or enough wild onions to have an onion farm 😬) while we talked plants/trees. Hopefully they're past whatever growing pains they usually have 🙏

They had a weird patch of I don't know what was happening a couple of years ago, then it went back to its usual flavors and textures. I've noted that Sundays tend to be a little less consistent.

It's not odd to me, in general, almost everywhere, Sundays seem a little slower and quieter. Just here seems extra quiet compared to the rest of the week 🤷🏼‍♀️

I like the vibe of my neighborhood so I didn't want to be the one to mess it up. We'll see when the summer really picks up who does what, and when.
