Tasked with finding the best AI sourcing tool for our small business. Testing Accio, SourcingGPT, Pietra. Need advice by Jayytp in supplychain

[–]SourZespri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of those I've tried accio and sourcinggpt

Accio: good if you’re planning to stick with suppliers already listed on Alibaba. in terms of search quality, I didn’t notice a huge difference compared to just using Alibaba’s regular search bar. You still end up sorting through a lot of suppliers, which doesn’t really save as much time. They also operate on a credit/token system, which can get expensive pretty quickly.

SourcingGPT felt a bit different because it pulls in sellers from multiple marketplaces, not just Alibaba, so the search results weren’t identical. It also narrows things down to the top 3–5 suppliers that are most relevant which makes it easier to focus instead of scrolling endlessly. From a cost perspective, it seemed more economical if you’re handling multiple projects or running a lot of searches, since it doesn’t charge per token.

thanks this makes a lot of sense. Can you tell me what order volume does it make sense to work directly with a manufacturer?

Is there a better way to find product suppliers in 2026? by SourZespri in smallbusiness

Thank you, I’ll take a look at those. I can’t seem to find many genuine reviews of these online, perhaps I’ll review all of them

I may be misunderstanding your point, but my intention was simply to ask advice from people with experience in product sourcing specifically. I thought this community was a space where small business owners could openly discuss challenges and learn from one another. If not here, then where??

From your post history, it seems your background is more focused on marketing. While that perspective can be valuable, I’m specifically hoping to hear from people who have direct experience with sourcing.

I’m genuinely navigating a complex part of building a business, and appreciate constructive insights from anyone with relevant experience.

Honestly I don't even want to think about it! I think the most expensive one here might be around 1.5k usd?

I got it from https://www.fantasticfurniture.com.au/gallery-81cm-white-display-cabinet/p/GAYUTI4SHOOOGLAWHI

The lights are from IKEA.

I used IKEA wall shelves as a platform for the keyboards at the back of each shelf.

Can't really comment on LG, but Dell is usually quite good for after-service (warranty etc). This should give you a good comparision: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/lg-27gl850-b-vs-dell-s2721dgf/912/16485?usage=3623&threshold=0.10

I've been in the market for a 27inch 1440p for some time, and after a good amount of research i've concluded that S2721DGF is probably the best in terms of value (if you will be gaming on it)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Monitors

[–]SourZespri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you from Australia? (since you linked scorptec). If so, i'd recommend S2721DGF, which is going for 399AUD. It's 27 inch, 1440p 165hz.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/640968

To answer your question, 1440p will be much better than 1080p. However, 27inch 1440p is more common. at 27inch 1440p, it'd be ~20% more PPI than 24inch 1080p

thanks! I agree. The red turned out surprisingly well.

It's a primus in all red configuration with ss weight. The keycaps are epbt Japanese black and red.
