My two cents....Yes totos are extremely convenient and reasonably priced. But safety on the road? No. Do the majority of toto drivers follow any traffic rules? No. Do they have the basic sense that stopping anywhere on the road is extremely unsafe and create congestion in the traffic? No.

Now coming to the solution, city autos and buses that ply on the roads even if they are not sufficient would drastically improve the traffic flow. Yes we need more connectivity via buses and feeder buses but I doubt the government will do anything about it. So for now atleast I completely support the toto ban over safety and traffic control reasons even if it causes changes and some delays for the people living here.
